- Took myself off for a Motorcycle Wild Camp to the Mennock Pass. My friend Simon had found it, and prior to the Bike trip we did bit of Gold panning. Thought I would merge the 2 together to give you How to guide for bike camping and the basics of what to take for Gold Panning.

Your videos always keep it real and make the most of poor conditions. I wild camped about 100 yards from where you were last year as I did the SWC 300 on my Himalayan. fantastic place. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Pill, I only get time to get out and film one once a month. Work gets in the way 😂 Takes me about a week to edit one hour or so each day. Glad you like my vids.
Great video again Steve. I’ve got e few wild camp videos coming up and it is really difficult filming at the same time as cooking etc.

@@stevebutler7156 I have aftermarket GoPro diving light. Very cheap, Adjustable light output, mountable and runs off older cheaper GoPro batteries. Great for the camp filming.

Great stuff ! It's inspired me to go out (got 4 days holiday to use before the end of the year) Newcastle based so I might go west or Kielder area ! If your thinking of going to the same place in Mexico as you've been to before El Dorado suites ? fantastic place ! We made the mistake of going at May this year ! My mum and dad go out that way quite a bit for some peace and quiet.
But they're a bit old for wild motorbike camping, so they take a camper van 🤣

Never a rat but I’ve been visited by the occasional mouse in the night. Annoying when you’re trying to sleep 😂👍

Hi Steve can you tell if your passenger seat rattles with out any body sat in it I got the same van and mine is really bad and told that's how they are?? Can you put my mind at rest cheers john
Hi John yes it does, I found it really annoying at first. I’ve tried all sorts to settle it. Apparently it is the norm. A heavy bag normally sorts it. Then it starts again when she gets out 😂👍 ATB Steve
