Professor Craig has taught and mentored hundreds, if not thousands, of students throughout his teaching career, and as a Dean of the law school, to the point where many consider him to be their "Law School Dad."
Life is full of unexpected surprises, and teaching was not something Professor Craig thought he could turn into a career.
Before joining the Loyola Law School faculty, Professor Craig was a partner at the prestigious and renowned Sidley Austin LLP in Los Angeles, where he practiced in all areas of litigation. Professor Craig pursued excellence and was recognized for the high level of work performed during his time at Sidley, yet there was something tugging at his heart: his love for teaching others and guiding students through their academic journeys and beyond.
Professor Craig touches on his upbringing, his journey to becoming one of Loyola's beloved professors (including serving as a Dean for the law school), and personal philosophies that have shaped his life and that he continues to pass along to students.
