Hello rachell. My fiancé and I love your moveable island. We’d like to know more about it. The specifications on the rollers n such.
I believe there are 5 rollers on the bottom of our moveable island, 4 on each side, 1 in the middle to support the weight. For the carpentry, we have it built the same as our kitchen set up so it flushes neatly when not used. :)

Hello! It’s vinyl! ☺️ just with wood pattern haha! Cause we have cats, vinyl won’t get damaged by their running around 😆
How do you prevent your two cats from jumping out of the windows? Did you install special window grills.
You should consider installing window mesh since there are cats around

Hello! Our ID brought us to a store in SG with a lot of different lightings and we chose that! 😆 maybe can find similar ones on Taobao or ezhome (we just did a video on this) if you’re not in a hurry to receive it! Should be a lot cheaper too!

I own a corridor hdb , 4room, all by myself and I insist not to renovate anything until I get the true layout.. and like a finally, I saw what I want from your video. But.. dining table still being a pain in the ass to be placed.

@@syedibrahim6991 no issues so far with the rolling! One improvement I’d love (if possible) though, would be a stopper 😆 currently we use a doorstopper if we want it to be in place and not shift around when we’re using it. So maybe you can ask your ID when manufacturing this movable island ☺️

Hi @Rachell Tan did u take a renovation loan and furniture loan, or did you jus saved up all of the money on your own before embarking on reno and furniture purchase? :)
As my husband and I are already taking a loan for our car, we didn’t want to take up much loans, so we had to fork out cash for our furniture and reno. Very Chor and painful, but we did a simple ROM and didn’t do a wedding banquet (heng, cause in the end had all of the restrictions) so we managed to use the funds for our home instead ☺️

HDB can own cats meh?
I am also wondering the same thing. I thought it is illegal to keep cats in HDB. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
hdb can own dogs meh? cats so quiet dont even cause any nuisance why need ask like that eh?
@@imjaebbom519 HDB can own dogs but it depends on the breed, bigger dogs like golden retriever can probably only be raised by people living in private properties whereas for cats, i believe i came across a rule that states cats are not supposed to be raised in HDB.
Nuisance or not, i don't know but it's some sort of law i read awhile ago. The video got dog meh? I only saw cat but don't know where does the correlation of dog came into play aha

It's very worth it, we don't have to scoop the litter everyday because of it. There is no lingering smell because there's a charcoal filter in the drawer compartment. :)

Hi, for the mayer hood, is it easy to clean away the oil and stain?
Yes! it's very easy to clean up the hood. There is actually a detachable oil tray so you can take it out to wash it. The 2 filters can easily be removed and cleaned too!
