Best part is i also managed to convince him for a set of black alloys too😂😂…. Now just imagine a 70yr old retired school teacher driving that car😂😂😂😂 reason is simple he too was a CAR ENTHUSIAST 😍❤️💯

My enthusiasm towards car started when my Dad decided to buy one. Back then, I was four and he brought many brochures of different brands. I memorized all brochures and I could identify any cars on the road at that time. But my love towards sedans started when I got a picture of a 2006 Subaru wrx(a blue one); and I loved it. Then I was chasing Octavia. I still remember 5 year old me struggling to read "Octavia" because of that font😂
Even the same story for me too in my childhood...people used to ask me to identify the cars on the road and they were very proud of me for knowing about cars at such a small age...my hobby was to go to all cars and looking at their dashboard through the glass and noting the highest speed in the speedometer and writing down it in my notebook...i used to think that those cars could go at that speed😅
Wen i was child I used to stare at cars and wondering about they way it looks, that fascinates me more.. each time i look at a same car i got different perspectives about how it looks and i find something new..,sometimes i use my hands as a blind to prevent the visuals of some angles and realise myself that design could have been better if it was like that.,😝 I never felt that cars are machines, they have soul, they have their sense of identity.. Am 27 now and still i have the same excitement like a child looking at a car In my life I i have gone through different emotions love and interests.. but in most case i would lose my interest after some period of time, but my love towards cars are unending and i am pretty much sure that it’s the only thing that i am sure about rest are uncertain Cars are forever love❤️
I guess my love for cars is kind of hereditary. My father used to buy me little toy cars when I was in kindergarten. I had an Opel Astra, a Pajero, a Wagon R, among others. Although those first toy cars didn't survive, my love for cars definitely did :)
I moved to Dubai when I was seven in 89 and our local neighbor had a black Pontiac firebird(golden Phoenix on the hood) with pop up headlights… I used to stand and drool at it every time I saw it.
Oh this is too relatable guys... I used to collect paper cuttings of photos of as much cars as possible and make albums during my childhood. Don't know how I could figure out a model from its distant view. Always dreamt to have my own car... and I am now!.... Lots of love and support dears 👍👍❤️

I remember collecting small scale die cast models of cars playing with them admiring them and loving them to death...seeing different brands and models on the roads and fascinated about them and knowing many of them to detail ...then growing up and returning back to india in the 1990s I was surprised to see only a few models and also started falling in love with them...College life in Chennai I remember collecting all used CarMagazines Auto India and cherishing them .....I knew I had a craziness in cars ...But you cannot inject this craziness to someone. That's the thing about cars.....My thoughts and memories...

I'm a motorcycle guy to absolutely no end, but I love anything on wheels. Like you guys said, all automobiles are a form of art, and it's upto the individual to choose whether he appreciates it or not. However, like you said towards the end of the video, true enthusiasm is in how well you take care of whatever you have, be it a Maruti 800 or a Pagani. IT'S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU RIDE/DRIVE! I own a 2010 MY Yamaha FZ16, and I cannot even begin to describe how much I love him. My family thinks I've gone haywire, given how much time, money and effort I lovingly spend on him; but then again, he's mine and mine alone! 🥰❤

Great content guys. I could relate to everything you guys shared. When I bought my first car Honda City 4th generation, people were asking me 'Why not a Maruti??, Maruti is always the best first car for anyone in India'. I still own my City, a black one, a rare colour as Honda stopped black color some months after launch. I bought a Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI last December. Now people asks me 'Why a Skoda after a Honda?'. I fail miserably everytime making them understand why I bought a Rapid. First test drive itself was sufficient to make a connect with Rapid. By the way, are you guys planning to give a list hurray episode to Skoda Rapid as the car is now discontinued. I have a Skoda Rapid 1.0TSI MT Monte Carlo 👍.

I guess my craze for cars came from my brother.... He used to talk about BMWs, Audi's and Mercs when I was a kid... And then we used to play a game where we count the number of these sporty or luxury cars(even cars like a 3 series, or a C class.. which were pretty cool at that time..still is. Right?). Ultra luxury cars will get a higher point... The winner is the one who gets the higher number of points. I still remember we were travelling in an AC lowfloor and both of us screaming when we saw a Bentley flying spur at kalamassery😍(He won the challenge that day)... So Yeahh... It was pretty cool back then... Still is... But the vibes were pretty strong for me that tims.. good old days huh😄... Ooooh.. and games have a really big contribution too... Especially the Need for speed series... I learnt to shift gears properly by playing NFS carbon😂.. so learning to drive a car wasn't that hard for me.. nthaallee😁

The reason why still loves cars because of there craftmanship and engineering, I am not being a fan of gimmicks like larger touch screen or anything like, actually I loves a car on its brilliant engineering and its design and I am a Porsche lover too !!!! I was into bikes since my childhood until I saw this channel.My thought of owning Maruthi 800 is something low has changed by watching this channel.I also get excited when spotting some cars featured in this channel.You guys completely changed my perspective about cars.
Cars just make us happier. It's honestly a break for us at the end of the day , like driving back from work or in my case college and it just calms us down, driving the so called pieces of metal we love with our hearts. Caring for the car, making sure it gets everything it needs ( atleast we try to) and then occasionally ripping it around..
Right from the first sight of that three box shape may be, it is still the same love. Loved those classics, especially those Russian and European cars… then it was all about speed and looks. Then it went into the soul, the power and muscle. Now it’s a nirvana, with a feel like a surgeon looking at a patient’s body.

Nice one!! I think for me there are car lovers and then car enthusiasts. You start of as a car lover and eventually become a enthusiast. I think most of us are car lovers, we love seeing them and enjoy driving and maintaining them and do a lot of things enthusiasts do. The only difference is enthusiasts are usually subject matter experts like the two of you and a lot of us out there are folks who love cars but may not be able to speak at the same depth about all cars. Overall yes car is an art form and we are all art lovers :-), very well said!! One thing is for sure car love/enthusiasm just brings random people together. It's almost like you will go out of the way to help random folks when you share that passion. Also you feel a certain connect ....almost like I feel JD and Vivekji are my childhood friends although I have never met them ever, and have only known them only through talking cars in the last 12 months :-)...I think that sums it up !!

Thanks for the idea of Dubai Maman it will come in handy during my future endeavours😂. The thing that got me to cars is my childhood. Topgear had a huge role to play in who i am today. I have seen pretty much every episode and i absolutely enjoyed them. It also helped me to develop my english language. The next thing was my father. Even as a young small child he actually allowed me to bond with our car which was very important. He taught me how to drive at a young age and that made a huge impression in my young mind. I love anything and everything with an engine. Cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, powertools, helicopters, airplanes etc. It is the one thing that is keeping me fuelled in this stupid harsh journey that is life
Yes dreaming about it all the time that's how I learned driving, I mean without anyone's help I learned driving just by dreaming about it all day n night. Obviously, it's not like I drove straight to the highway from the first day, but no one was there to assist me in the journey of learning how to drive. And it's all bcoz of the enthusiasm for cars, I'm proud of it always.

For me,love for cars started at an early age about 4th grade,when my uncle bought home a brand new for figo diesel.even if it's not the only car i've seen or being in ,somehow it struck my mind.from then i love to notice all the cars passing by and managed to identify its name and variant from the back.then i started collecting cars photos from ads of different magazines and news papers and stick it on a book.bugatti veyron was my favourite at that time.from then till now my feelings for car is endless and that's why i love your channel very much❤❤
I feel car enthusiasts can broadly belong to either or both of these 2 categories: 1. Those who love the 'Motion' i.e the ability of a car to take you from A to B - speed/ acceleration / cornering / sound / braking / and all other physical forces one feels while driving. 2. Those who love the 'Engineering' - how the engine/motor makes power in response to your inputs, how reliably it does so day in and day out, how the chassis or gearbox takes on so much physical force, how the suspension is able to smoothen the ride, Overall - (wonder) how so many parts of the car work together (almost) perfectly making the car more efficient than its driver in most cases. I think I belong to this category and find it unbelievable that cars actually work they way they do - its like magic.
I never owned a car and I don't know whether I'm a enthusiastor not. But still I very much joy and love know about both new and classic cars. All the best you guys. ❤

My enthusiasm towards car started when my Dad decided to buy one. Back then, I was four and he brought many brochures of different brands. I memorized all brochures and I could identify any cars on the road at that time. But my love towards sedans started when I got a picture of a 2006 Subaru wrx(a blue one); and I loved it. Then I was chasing Octavia. I still remember 5 year old me struggling to read "Octavia" because of that font😂
Even the same story for me too in my childhood...people used to ask me to identify the cars on the road and they were very proud of me for knowing about cars at such a small age...my hobby was to go to all cars and looking at their dashboard through the glass and noting the highest speed in the speedometer and writing down it in my notebook...i used to think that those cars could go at that speed😅
I’m into cars/automobiles because of my dad. For me, it all started with his ambassador/bullet. We could talk about automobiles for hours. I miss him.

Wen i was child I used to stare at cars and wondering about they way it looks, that fascinates me more.. each time i look at a same car i got different perspectives about how it looks and i find something new..,sometimes i use my hands as a blind to prevent the visuals of some angles and realise myself that design could have been better if it was like that.,😝

I guess my love for cars is kind of hereditary. My father used to buy me little toy cars when I was in kindergarten. I had an Opel Astra, a Pajero, a Wagon R, among others. Although those first toy cars didn't survive, my love for cars definitely did :)
I moved to Dubai when I was seven in 89 and our local neighbor had a black Pontiac firebird(golden Phoenix on the hood) with pop up headlights… I used to stand and drool at it every time I saw it.

As a kid growing up abroad.. I remember collecting small scale die cast models of cars playing with them admiring them and loving them to death...seeing different brands and models on the roads and fascinated about them and knowing many of them to detail ...then growing up and returning back to india in the 1990s I was surprised to see only a few models and also started falling in love with them...College life in Chennai I remember collecting all used CarMagazines Auto India and cherishing them .....I knew I had a craziness in cars ...But you cannot inject this craziness to someone. That's the thing about cars.....My thoughts and memories...

Also cars are a the second biggest investment of a general person and they will like to brag about it.
I'm a motorcycle guy to absolutely no end, but I love anything on wheels. Like you guys said, all automobiles are a form of art, and it's upto the individual to choose whether he appreciates it or not.
However, like you said towards the end of the video, true enthusiasm is in how well you take care of whatever you have, be it a Maruti 800 or a Pagani. IT'S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU RIDE/DRIVE! I own a 2010 MY Yamaha FZ16, and I cannot even begin to describe how much I love him. My family thinks I've gone haywire, given how much time, money and effort I lovingly spend on him; but then again, he's mine and mine alone! 🥰❤

Great content guys. I could relate to everything you guys shared. When I bought my first car Honda City 4th generation, people were asking me 'Why not a Maruti??, Maruti is always the best first car for anyone in India'. I still own my City, a black one, a rare colour as Honda stopped black color some months after launch. I bought a Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI last December. Now people asks me 'Why a Skoda after a Honda?'. I fail miserably everytime making them understand why I bought a Rapid. First test drive itself was sufficient to make a connect with Rapid.
By the way, are you guys planning to give a list hurray episode to Skoda Rapid as the car is now discontinued. I have a Skoda Rapid 1.0TSI MT Monte Carlo 👍.
A car enthusiast - someone who feels the car is an extension of his being. Someone who is able to appreciate the little things that make each car unique.
I guess my craze for cars came from my brother.... He used to talk about BMWs, Audi's and Mercs when I was a kid... And then we used to play a game where we count the number of these sporty or luxury cars(even cars like a 3 series, or a C class.. which were pretty cool at that time..still is. Right?). Ultra luxury cars will get a higher point... The winner is the one who gets the higher number of points. I still remember we were travelling in an AC lowfloor and both of us screaming when we saw a Bentley flying spur at kalamassery😍(He won the challenge that day)... So Yeahh... It was pretty cool back then... Still is... But the vibes were pretty strong for me that tims.. good old days huh😄... Ooooh.. and games have a really big contribution too... Especially the Need for speed series... I learnt to shift gears properly by playing NFS carbon😂.. so learning to drive a car wasn't that hard for me.. nthaallee😁

The reason why still loves cars because of there craftmanship and engineering, I am not being a fan of gimmicks like larger touch screen or anything like, actually I loves a car on its brilliant engineering and its design and I am a Porsche lover too !!!! Because of my mad on automobiles leads to do both PG and UG in Automotive Engineering and worked as Design and Development as well as Production Engineer too !!!!

Cars just make us happier. It's honestly a break for us at the end of the day , like driving back from work or in my case college and it just calms us down, driving the so called pieces of metal we love with our hearts. Caring for the car, making sure it gets everything it needs ( atleast we try to) and then occasionally ripping it around..

Nice one!! I think for me there are car lovers and then car enthusiasts. You start of as a car lover and eventually become a enthusiast. I think most of us are car lovers, we love seeing them and enjoy driving and maintaining them and do a lot of things enthusiasts do. The only difference is enthusiasts are usually subject matter experts like the two of you and a lot of us out there are folks who love cars but may not be able to speak at the same depth about all cars. Overall yes car is an art form and we are all art lovers :-), very well said!!
One thing is for sure car love/enthusiasm just brings random people together. It's almost like you will go out of the way to help random folks when you share that passion. Also you feel a certain connect ....almost like I feel JD and Vivekji are my childhood friends although I have never met them ever, and have only known them only through talking cars in the last 12 months :-)...I think that sums it up !!

The thing that got me to cars is my childhood. Topgear had a huge role to play in who i am today. I have seen pretty much every episode and i absolutely enjoyed them. It also helped me to develop my english language.
The next thing was my father. Even as a young small child he actually allowed me to bond with our car which was very important. He taught me how to drive at a young age and that made a huge impression in my young mind.
I love anything and everything with an engine. Cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, powertools, helicopters, airplanes etc. It is the one thing that is keeping me fuelled in this stupid harsh journey that is life

Yes dreaming about it all the time that's how I learned driving, I mean without anyone's help I learned driving just by dreaming about it all day n night. Obviously, it's not like I drove straight to the highway from the first day, but no one was there to assist me in the journey of learning how to drive. And it's all bcoz of the enthusiasm for cars, I'm proud of it always.

For me,love for cars started at an early age about 4th grade,when my uncle bought home a brand new for figo diesel.even if it's not the only car i've seen or being in ,somehow it struck my mind.from then i love to notice all the cars passing by and managed to identify its name and variant from the back.then i started collecting cars photos from ads of different magazines and news papers and stick it on a book.bugatti veyron was my favourite at that time.from then till now my feelings for car is endless and that's why i love your channel very much❤❤

I feel car enthusiasts can broadly belong to either or both of these 2 categories:
1. Those who love the 'Motion' i.e the ability of a car to take you from A to B - speed/ acceleration / cornering / sound / braking / and all other physical forces one feels while driving.
2. Those who love the 'Engineering' - how the engine/motor makes power in response to your inputs, how reliably it does so day in and day out, how the chassis or gearbox takes on so much physical force, how the suspension is able to smoothen the ride, Overall - (wonder) how so many parts of the car work together (almost) perfectly making the car more efficient than its driver in most cases. I think I belong to this category and find it unbelievable that cars actually work they way they do - its like magic.
