Glad I bought the ActiFry but it does not make " crispy " chips ( fries ) the chips are good no question but they have a soft texture and quite pale in colour certainly not golden brown and crispy as in deep frying.
+munnjean Put the chips in a bowl covered by water for 1 hour or so to get rid of some of the starch. Then drain off the water and let them dry on a tea towel for another hour. I find that helps, but you are right, you can't expect deep fryer results with this machine. On the other hand you get much healthier chips though.
It becomes soggy. Don't use the paddle. I use it for Frozen fries and I don't use the paddle and put oil first in the pan and the potatoes on top. Half way through it just turn over the fries with a spatula.
That is hilarious!! And a little bit sad... it's a shame you didn't pay more attention to cursive writing in school... I guess now it's like a secret code or something? HAHA!!
Maybe you could have said how long to cook, instead of showing cutting and washing the fries.
Good job not giving the time you put them in.
what she said.
+Lesley Elixis Or the approximate number of ptatoes to spoon of oil ratio.
@@Spookychris01 I can't wait for 40 minutes to eat my fries
I love the actifry! I use it weekly!
How long do they put them in for?
Until they are cooked

+munnjean Try using a little more oil. I find that helps. Another trick is to dry the raw chips really well beforehand.

T-Fal, If only few ti fry, can i remove the mixer in the middle?
It doesn't tell you a recommended cook time or oil choice.

All I wanted to know was how

What an oddity to make the effort of making a video but leave out the cooking time...which is the part that we all came here for. ❓❔❕
Does not look crispy to me
Tfal international , How many minutes i need for cook 1kg of fries?
Thanks
35 minutes for frozen fries.
Thanks
fries came out soggy as I saw your video after cooking. Moreover, it resulted in a juicy electric bill as it takes too long to cook
Compared to what, your oven?
Compare Watts used, seems you don't cook much

they provide a spoon inside the actifry product

Umm lady, u don't have to go all fancy with us with all the cursive and stuff. Sorry I just can't read it properly

It's not even that, lol. She doesn't know how to spell 'potato' :)
@@celinearseneault582 Or, you could consider that some people have reading disorders, and not be a prick
@@celinearseneault582 About 60% of schools don't teach cursive anymore. So it is like a secret code to many younger people.
