You can throw the smoke once and look how the enemies react to. When they don't spam it in the very first seconds you can go out. You also shouldn't do that smoke that often. Maybe 2-4 times in one game depending how good it works against these enemies.
@@RaimaNd That's what I normally do, but only in lower ranks like when I'm versus A-'s or something like that, but the amount of Advanced or MDL 4 stacks I play late night is a LOT, and I find just running out boost and fighting them that way, or spamming garage as they're hugging the wall playing anti-flash and pushing up to be much more conducive to victory.
@@danboing3864 I agree with you, that play is simply a high risk, high reward play. It's something you can add to your strats but shouldn't run it that often. It's very likely that higher skilled player also don't expect such a play so it might caught them off guard.
Smokes last 15 seconds. If you only throw the smoke when you're going to push out - and if you push out you only do it immediately after the smoke blooms - you're doing it wrong.

Love Voo's videos. Right up there with n0thing in terms of pure content and applicability. Proguides is good for general mindset but Voo just dissects it so well. I credit hundreds of wins, the majority on cache, to Voo.
I think it should be noted that mid can be held alone, even from the very beginning of the round, if A has been noticed to leak easily. Also if the enemy hasn't got anything done on A even with just one CT there, there should be no reason to rotate the other mid player there immediately when the smoke clears. Obviously everything depends on where and how much the Ts are putting pressure, but this is how I notice it tends to go in Supreme/Global. I play mostly Cache.
You still need a PC that won't drop to 30 Frames on the map. Thanks to the new shader update Valve brought in, I went from 80 -100 FPS average on all maps besides Cache to barely 60 on all maps besides Cache. Great content, sad I won't be able to apply it.
@@toasterr4238 That's the thing, I'm on a crappy laptop my parents gave me, and they're sure as hell not giving me a better PC, they did however give my brother a 1080ti that's collecting dust lol.
@@redz2d the rig I'm on is just some crappy win10 office pc (about $100, with a super old left over monitor) with a $200 1050ti I installed last year. Runs cache at 300fps in MM. but if I were you I'd maybe look into GeForce now or Shadow (like one of the cloud computing services) if your internet is good. It used to be free but may cost a bit now, but it's definitely cheaper than a pc upgrade. Internet is very important too, this week I've suddenly gotten 50% loss spikes and 150 ping (normally 20). I'd take stable internet over fps any day.
I really don't know why you only have 95k subs. You're one, if not the best csgo teacher on youtube. I try to teach a lot of casuals and I often end up linking your videos because you explain it very well and show it perfectly.
My team always play 3 mid, one con, one pushes up under boost or go vent and one play highway/rotater to A. After 15-30 seconds we have all of mid and the A rotate can go A site. The B guy just needs not to die and we can retake. We seem to lose more often when we go 2-1-2 rather than 1-3-1
1. Get the Camo SEAL team six skin on CT side to disguise yourself in the green 2. Make sure the other team has shit FPS and experiences as many lag drops since Cache causes that a lot 3. Profit

Hi bro I am dont remember the pro player or the tournament neither the name of the team , but I know that back in 2019 a pro player (t sided) killed 2 CTs through the smoke in inferno from sandbags by lining up his krieg scoped in to somewhere on the blue wall behind CAR and till he hit the sandbags
I am not a very good player I just play at about mge lvl and the way I approach mid on CT side is just by smoking garage at the beginning and then playing close this works out for me pretty well
Best video from you so far imo... A lot of solo-queuing ideas for setting up and gaining map control (which is tbh the most important to carry) hope you can do more for different maps.
those dot nades are pretty bad tbh you can molo headshot and default with 1 and you can throw the smoke a little closer in the middle of both dots verticall and horizontally which makes it way better.

Cache became my favourite map (alongside inferno and train) and when i played cs daily 1.5 years ago, i single queud as a only awp player and went the ladder up to supreme. I ALWAYS play mid on cache, i probably have 1k hours on cache mid and typically iam a bank there. Sometimes the enemies were tryharding after getting killed and play like 5 man mid strats and still would get them. I test played the new cache when it came out and it was horrible, luckily they solved the performance issues (by decrasing the green shit everywhere and essentially coming back to the original.. lol why even update in the first place). Now, it plays good performance wise but they kinda killed some spots. The changes on mid were unnecessary. Oke, i was holding it good there but thats something different, typically it wasnt OP or anything. The A side changes are actually horrible. They completely opened up the side and destroyed the whole feeling of the map. You can look from car to spot easily etc. A side is RIP, the old one was so much better
The problem is my only friends are very ego filled and don't care about grenades almost at all... and if they care about them it's for their own good. For my 1000 hours in game I NEVER got helped with a teammate flashing in!

The solo mid push with the smoke and flash still works 9/10 times on global if you know what you're doing. I've been doing this for years and it almost never gets punished. That said, good players will spam the smoke, so you should account for that
Love your videos, but I hate that it's meant for high level play :D almost none of these things apply to lower ranked MM matches. Up to DMG, and never have even seen 1 middle smoke from the T's. Holding mid with 1 dude is super easy

After a while of being sem I just switched to pugs and I actually started improving because mm is so bad that you improve by such a small margins

Step 1: Have a PC that can run Cache with acceptable framerate.
Its fixed after previous updates. WHen it came out first the fps was a problem but not anymore.

From someone who has tried it too many times, don't try that run out mid strat with the lurk smoke in A-rank pugs, they will spam you and own you.

Besides soft fixes like configs, launch options, resolution, getting a cheap graphics card like 1050 boosts performance pretty well. Assuming you're on desktop.
