The child looks up at the woman, her wings shielding him from the storm and wolves.
"Whats your name!"
The child ask excitedly.
"I don't remember."
The woman replies
"But you should have a name! I have a name!"
"I know I have one, I just cant remember."
The boy looks up at the woman again, then looks down and fashions wings and a halo made of sticks.
"Look I'm an angel just like you!"
"I bet you are."
Yells are heard off in the forest calling for the boy.
"That must be mom and dad! I have to go back to them!"
"Don't worry they will come."
The shouts get louder and louder.
"Were you born an angel?"
The kid asks with a curious expression.
"No, not always, I was once human like you..."
The woman is taken by a feeling of sadness at her lost life, but she keeps a happy face for the boy.
"So I can become an angel!"
"I hope you wont have to, its not as it seems..."
The woman becomes even more sad, he expression falters for mere moments. The shouts are now just outside the clearing, hearing them, the wolves run. The boy's parents run out of the clearing as the angel pulls back her wings and the boy runs to hug them. The mother and father hug the child, now noticing the angel the father looks up.
He sees the face of his first born child, his daughter, staring back at him. She gives a smile as the mother looks up as well, both stunned expressions on there faces. The angel vanishes in a shimmer of light, one sentence uttering out from seemingly the sky itself.
"I'm sorry I had little time with you..."

In some cultures they believe ... before a human is borne. It knew everything from the past till the present. But then right before it is delivered, an angel visits it.
Tell to the human ,, your journey is about to begin, but I ll have to silence your memory. So the angel put his finger that child’s lips before the delivery and lets it forget everything, even his real name. As proof the angel leave a mark on the upper lip. (Philtrum)

So actually it means humans didn’t forget about anything they still have all the knowledge. They just can’t remember. Unless they try hard to remember. So they invented practices like meditation, praying, journey to holy places...

He stared at the angel shielding him from the snow. Protecting him from the fear of the wolves prowling around them. Light shimmered from her halo as if mesmerizing eyes. He reached up. She knelt to let him touch it.
"Do you like the light?"
"It's pretty."
Cheeks flushing, he stared at the snow. Her smile was too beautiful.
"I made these for you."
Little wooden wings and halo attached to a stick.
"They feel like the toys I have at home."
"I hoped they would."
She helped him tie the wings to his back. A prefect fit, neither heavy or flimsy. He put his hand behind his back to don the halo over his head and ran circles around her. She spun to watch him, laughter dancing with the gentle white flakes.
"I'm flying! Flying like you!"
"I'm glad they work so well."
A wolf was close. He brushed his hand against its damp fur. Coldness unable to weigh it down as it eyed something past him. He saw only his tiny imprints in the snow.
"Say, would you like something warm to eat?"
"Can I? I don't...remember what I had this morning."
"What's your favorite?"
"Oh! It's...Something my mom makes for me. It's got chocolate."
She knelt and placed a calm touch upon his head.
"You can have all the chocolate you'd like."
"Marshmallows!"
"As far as you can see."
"I need to tell mom and dad! Wanna come with me?"
Her smile, like dawn linking the fresh dew into a luminous field.
"Where are you?"
"That's mom! I bet dad's with her!"
He ran towards her voice, but the wolves stood taller. Honed onto the human sound.
"Go away! They're my mom and dad! Not yours!"
He packed a snowball and flung it, but his arms were small. The orb flew short. Ignored. The beasts stared past him as if sentinels of a lonely place.
"I found tracks! This way!"
He turned towards the angel, who kept her wings propped up as a canopy.
"Mom and dad brought friends. They'll get to meet you."
Her eyes wavered as she knelt. A cry pierced through the trees, carrying a single word. He watched as men with thick clothing and rifles walked into the clearing. The wolves fled.
"Mom! Dad!"
Racing through snow, tripping on roots and rocks, but always rising. Straight at them as they ran towards him. Arms reach, he jumped. Fell into a cold pile. They kept going, until collapsing around something.
"Mom? Dad?"
They hugged something between them. He walked over and peered at them clutching a boy. Blue faced, with thin trails of ice stemming from his eyes. A wooden knight was lodged in his hands. The one his father carved for him. A bruised dent with blood spattered marred his forehead. His foot tangled in metal jaws. A jutting rock coated red.
"I'm right here! Mommy! Daddy! Look! I have wings! Watch me fly!"
He ran around them, but they kept staring at the other boy. Tears raining down upon him. Wailing in no speech. He fell to his knees, gripped their sleeves.
"Please! Please! I'm here! You found me...I love you."
Kindness caressed his cheek. So warm, like when his parents used to cuddle up with him in their family blanket. Watching movies and eating celery with peanut butter. Setting him to rest in bed with his favorite stuffed dinosaur.
"They will always love and cherish you."
"Do I have to go with you now?"
She scooped him up and cradled him. He felt weightless, as if floating like a snowflake that refused to give up its place in the sky. He shrugged off his wooden wings and halo. Dropped them next to his parents.
"They need them more than I do. I have you to help me fly."
"That's right. And it's time I get you home."
Wings flapping that never disturbed a single piece of snow. The world lifting away. His father staring in confusion upon picking up little wooden wings with a matching halo. Both parents shrinking from sight. Brilliance, white and crystalline and everywhere, enveloping.

Winter. The first snow fell on the streets of the city just after dawn. The little boy was enjoying the weather, the snow slowly falling from the sky, like a gift from the gods, sent to make all people happy on this foggy fresh cool morning. With a childish, primal joy, he caught snowflakes with his face one after another. When he finally got out of breath, running this way and that, he simply stood still, closed his eyes and stood with his mouth open, just enjoying every snowflake that fell on his face. Isn't this the moment people have been waiting for all year? And he stood like that for a while without any thoughts in his head, until the snow suddenly stopped falling on his tiny face. The boy was still insatiably waiting for the snow and stood with his eyes closed, as if this moment would never be enough for him. But he didn’t understand everything: where did the snow that always falls on me disappear? He still had to open his eyes, but when he opened them, he saw only some huge feathers above his head. He looked down and was suddenly blinded by a light that prevented him from seeing at least something. He immediately narrowed his eyes and covered his eyes with his hand, but then the light began to subside and then, as if after a magic trick, a slender figure in a fluttering cloak appeared in front of him. He looked up: it was a young girl with a hood on her head and elegant armor on her body. Her beauty was indescribable, indescribable in human language. It was an unearthly beauty. And above her head floated in the air a large, as graceful halo as everything else in her appearance. I immediately knew that it was he who blinded me when I looked at him. This girl was looking at me, bending a little, with her universal eyes and smiling sweetly at me. "Me? I'm the guardian of heaven. You don't need to know my name, my boy."
"Guardian of heaven? So you are an angel? These are the ones we are told about in fairy tales! Why are you here?"
"You're a smart boy. I'm here so you can get home soon."
"But I don't want to go home!"
"And what do you want?"
"I want to be a Guardian of Heaven! An angel just like you!"
She smiled cheerfully in response.
"You are a brave and happy boy. Why would you want to be us? You are already an angel that radiates light on all people around. Courage and happiness is all you need in order to be an angel."
I was silent not knowing what to answer.
"There is a lot of love in you. You should share it with everyone you love and who are dear to you. I just want you to always believe in a miracle, my boy. Believe that everything will work out for you, because it will be so. After all "I will always be by your side. Be brave, go home and tell your mother how much you love her. Give happiness to your closest people, this is your destiny. Go, my boy, I am always with you."
She slowly flapped her gigantic wings and in doing so kicked up a huge amount of snow around her. The snow rose into the air and enveloped her more and more. The light of her halo again illuminated her all from head to toe. The snow swirled like a whirlwind around a luminous something, it gradually rose from the ground higher and higher. And then it stopped in the air and the light gradually began to fade. I suddenly realized that she was leaving and I would not see her again, I immediately began to run into this world in order to hug him and fly with him to the far, far skies. I ran with all my might despite the whirlwind around, somehow covering my face with my hands. Он с детсткой, первобытной радостью ловил снежинки своим лицом одну за другой. Когда он наконец запыхался, бегая то в одну, то в другую сторону, он просто встал на месте, закрыл глаза и с открытым ртом стоял, просто наслаждаясь каждой упавшей снежинкой на его лице. Разве не этого момента люди ждали весь год? И он стоял так какое-то время без каких-либо мыслей в голове, пока снег вдруг не перестал падать на его крохотное лицо. Мальчик все еще ненасытно ждал снега и стоял с закрытыми глазами, будто ему всегда будет мало этого момента. Но он все не понимал: куда пропал всегда падающий на меня снег? Ему все же пришлось открыть глаза, но когда он их открыл, он увидел только какие-то огромные перья над его головой. Он опутил взгляд ниже и его вдруг ослепил свет, не давший увидеть хоть что-то. Он сразу прищурился и закрыл глаза рукой, но вот свет начинает утихать и тут, как после волшебного фокуса, перед ним оказалась стройная фигура в развевающемся плаще. Он поднял глаза выше: это была молодая девушка с капюшоном на голове и изящными доспехами на теле. Ее красота была неописуема, неописуема человеческим языком. Это была внеземная красота. А над головой у нее плавал в воздухе большой, такой же изящный нимб, как и все остальное в ее внешности. Я сразу понял, что именно он ослепил меня, когда я посмотрел на него. Эта девушка смотрела на меня, немного наклонившись, своими вселенскими глазами и мило улыбалась мне. Я завороженно смотрел на нее какое-то время и только позже заметил, что некий купол вокруг меня из перьев, это были ее огромные могучие крылья. Такой красивый вид ни на какой картине не запечатлишь, думал я.
"Привет", - сказала она своим мягким и плавным голосом. Я улыбнулся ей в ответ.
"Что ты тут делаешь?"
"Гуляю", - коротко ответил я.
"Да? А где твои родители?"
"Они дома. Я умею сам ходить домой!", - заявил я, пытаясь показать ей, насколько я взрослый. Она легко улыбнулась мне в ответ. Мне она сразу показалась очень добродушной. Ведь ничто так сильно не располагает к себе, как ее светлая улыбка.
"Это хорошо. Как тебя зовут?"
"Меня Миша зовут. А вы кто?"
"Я? Я - хранитель небес. Тебе совсем необязательно знать мое имя, мой мальчик."
"Хранитель небес? Значит вы ангел? Это ведь те, про которых нам в сказках говорят! Зачем вы здесь?"
"Ты сообразительный мальчик. Я здесь для того, чтобы ты скорее вернулся домой."
"Но я не хочу домой!"
"А чего ты хочешь?"
"Хочу быть Хранителем небес! Ангелом, как и вы!"
Она весело усмехнулась в ответ.
"Ты смелый и счастливый мальчик. Зачем тебе быть нами? Ты и так ангел, что излучает свет на всех людей вокруг. Смелость и счастье это все, что тебе нужно для того, чтобы быть ангелом."
Я молчал не зная, что ответить.
"В тебе много любви. Ты должен ею делиться со всеми кого ты любишь и кто тебе дорог. Я всего лишь хочу, чтобы ты всегда верил в чудо, мой мальчик. Верь, что все у тебя получится, ведь так оно и будет. Ведь я всегда буду рядом с тобой. Будь смелым, иди домой и скажи маме, как сильно ты ее любишь. Дари счастье своим самым близким людям, такого твое предназначение. Ступай, мой мальчик, я всегда с тобой."
Она медленно взмахнула своими гигантскими крыльями и тем самым подняла огромное количество снега вокруг себя. Снег поднимался в воздух и окутывал ее все больше и больше. Свет ее нимба опять засвечивал ее всю с головы до ног. Снег вихрем вертелся вокруг светящегося нечто, оно постепенно поднималось от земли все выше. И тут оно остановилось в воздухе и свет постепенно начал угасать. Я вдруг осознав, что она уходит и я ее больше не увижу, тут же начал бежать на этот свет дабы обнять его и улететь вместе с ним в далекие-далекие небеса. Я бежал со всей силы несмотря на вихрь вокруг, кое-как закрывая лицо руками. И вот оно уже почти в моих обьятиях, я прыгнул вслед за светом, но свет тут же смолк и исчез в вихре снега, а я уже падал в снег на то место, где когда-то находилось самое добродушное создание, которое я видел в своей жизни. Я упал лицом в образовавшийся сугроб и снег постепенно снижал свою скорость в воздухе и падал прямо на меня сверху, застилая меня хрустящим одеялом первого зимнего снега.
Thank you for this song and picture. I lost my child ten years ago this year. Hearing these stories from other people and what they are going through as well. It helps me take away the pain.
I admire you for being able to appreciate music the way you do. I know you feel this more than I ever could. Fight on and never give up on love and emotion. Know that pain and love are almost the same and there are many others out there that hurt constantly and you can show them how to survive!

I remember a time with him, my precious son. It was his first time seeing snow. As we walked through the white forest we heard rustling. It was a white wolf coming from the bushes. We could only stare at its beauty before it went off in its own direction. My son told me he liked wolves. Hah... I... I wish I could go back in time. I knew what he was turning into. A child was separated from his parents. Its getting dark and the snow falling starts getting heavier. The child is confused, not knowing which direction to go. He hears his parents calling his name but cant see them. Suddenly, someone touches his shoulder.
Angel; Hi
Boy; hello!- he replied cheerfully. The angel glances down at him and a little smile formed on her face.
Angel; what’s your name? - she asks.
Boy; my names Jacob. Whats yours? - he responded
Angel; i dont have a name.
Jacob; what do you mean you dont have a name?- he questioned
Angel; once you become a guardian angel you loose it. I don’t remember my name, but others make one up for me. - she responded
Jacob looked confused.
“What name do they give you?” He asked. The angel looked down, sadly.
“Some call me the angel of death, while others call me angel of another life. The boys face changed to one of sadness.
“Does that mean I died?” He questioned. The angel nodded. Suddenly, the boy heard his name being called again.
“I cant be dead, i still hear my family.” The boy turns around and notices hos own body covered in snow, with his parents crying around him. The boy stills himself. He tried to call out to his family, but they never answered him.
“Hey.. come on Jacob. It’s time to go. “ the angel rubbed his head.
“Am i an angel too?” He asked.
“Of course.” She responded.
“Will i see them again?” Jacob asks, pointing to his parents.
“One day.” Was the response he received. Jacob looked at her with doe eyes.
“Okay. Let’s go Elizabeth!” He smiled.
“Elizabeth?” She questioned.
“Everyone needs a name.” Jacob replied back. Elizabeth smiled.
“Dont you want to wait a bit longer before you go? To just be with them a little longer?” Elizabeth asked, yearn laced her voice.
“Its okay, i know they love me. And besides, you said I’d see them again soon! So i can spend as much time with them when that happens.” Jacob beamed.
“That you can.” Elizabeth laughed as she picked Jacob up. Jacobs parents glanced up and saw them both. Jacob and someone of elegance. They recognized her as the angel who came with the news of their child. Jacobs mother sobbed more, but this time the feeling of dread released off her shoulders. They smiled as they witnessed the two angels disappear before their eyes.
“Thank you, Elizabeth.” The mother whispered as she held her sons dead body closer to her chest

Child: "What's an angel?"
Angelica: "Someone who watches over you. An angel is a beautiful creature from the heavens that was sent down to keep someone safe. There are many angels. But not many of them are still as kind as they were initially."
Child: "How you never told me you were an angel?"
Angelica's eyes widened a bit and grew teary. She smiles weakly to the young and naive child.
She wasn't sure if he was only kidding around but his words brought her memories from the past.
Angelica remembered how the archangel embraced her that day before he died..
She remembered what heaven was like and how breath-taking the dimension she lived in was.
Angelica: "No reason in particular. I was expecting your father would have told you."
Angelica then smiled to the King of Heaven who was standing next to them and walked away from the child.
The young child ran to the King of Heaven.
Child: "Daddy.. I want to be an angel! I want to keep people safe just like Angelica said!"
The King of Heaven chuckled lightly.
'If only you knew..', thought the King to himself.
He then kneeled down to his son.
King: "Alright then. Angelica will teach you everything about an angel."
The young child who believed his family were full of only humans smiled brightly.
The King on the other hand knew he had to keep the truth from him.
He doesn't want his son to die like the archangel who loved Angelica..
'One day.. I'll tell you one day.', the king thinks to himself as he strolls off into the garden that was covered in snow with his son holding his hand.

I love this music because this music reminds me that my parents as my guardian had always loved me when they were on my side asking what I want and even they were nothing here. They're my shield's wings from a stormy land and wolves. I remembered that time when I was a child they teach me a lot of thing especially to love, and give me what I need for his/her selfish child in my past. They always sacrifice themselves to feed me more nutrient food even they have nothing to eat as I remembered. Because of them I have my reason to keep be alive. Finding my strength with them. Don't give up easily as long as I lived on my life because I know I have a shelter. By challenging myself, helping each family members for the sake of everyone.That's I know, but there's still I didn't know what am I going to be if my parents or guardians like an angel on the background will leave me behind all alone someday or later. Releasing from his/her shield's wings. I'll be okay?, I'll be able to reach them again? Or I'll be able to walk on my own if that time comes? To be sure, I'll teach myself walking by my foot on the ground step by step before they have their leave then, I will try my best even fear in my mind into my heart will be gone. I think it would be my beautiful and best gift that I able to make and give them before they left, flying as an angel before his/her beloved kid. Therefore, I feel they never leave me alone forever. That is a wonderful thing I want and also a goodbye.
As I think this music has two parts.The first part has a titled "ASHES OF MEMORIES"I think.
-I think this part is the feeling of that kid from his fear when he being separated from his guardian.
-This part I felt love for family, anger from danger and misfortune thing, stubborn self, feeling that my guardian were always here, worried, safe, challenges and etc...
On the second parts, it's feel I think has a titled "STAY ALIVE".
-I think this part is for the feeling of that angel when she find this lost child that under her protection and love but children admired her love.

The boy hastily took them and continued through the snow. They continued for some time.

"Soon I hope," said the guide through chattering teeth. Before much longer they spotted a cottage in the distance. They were nearly there when the guide collapsed.

The cold wind blew colder as the boys cheekes turned red "I think I went to far". The boy said through chattering teeth, suddenly he heard growling from the bushes, out of curiosity the boy decided to investigate, he pulled a branch aside and saw a pack of wolves feasting upon the corpse of an elk. The boy turned and started to run but the boys little legs couldn't run in the deep snow very well especially when he's very cold . The lead wolf howls and jumps out of the bushes but doesn't kill the boy, the wolves gather around him, suddenly there is a humming sound in the snow, then it moves to the wind, then the very snowflakes falling. One of the wolves leaps at the boy, but as if it was pushed midair it fell to it's side. The boy looks up and sees an angel surrounding him with her wings, the boy suddenly started to feel warm, the wolves run away. "Are you an Angel?" The boy asks excitedly, "yes" the kind woman responds. "I want to be an Angel too". The boy sings out, the Angel starts gathering sticks "close your eyes" she says softly, the boy does so.
"How's that?" The Angel asks
"It's perfect" it appears the the Angel made wings and a halo for the boy out of sticks.
The boy suddenly looks scared, after a few swallos the boy steps up and asked "are you here because I'm dead?"
"No, I saved you because it wasn't your time to die yet"
"Oh, goodbye"
"Farewell"
The boys parents find and hug him.
"You had us worried sick" the boys father said
"With all these wolves around it would've taken an Angel to save you"

I used music to do my school and in a mildly passing class I used this song for a creative writing project and wrote about a adopted boy speaking with his new sister and how they start to become family in a time skip I made it so that the sister name lived on to his daughter with her name in the place she was buried. In the end my prof gave me an A on that assignment I still use music to do my work and other things.

The little boy looked up at his mother and showed her his makeshift wings and halo, the Angel giggled and gently patted her son's head and told him "you are a very adorable little angel my son" the little boy smiled and hugged her feeling happy of his mother's praise.
Moments passed as both the angel and the little boy wander the woods till they found a open area of snow, both played in the snow making snowmen and played snowballs. The little boy was exhausted and a bit cold from the snow, the angel held her son close and wrapped her wings around him to keep him warm. "Your wings are very warm mom!" The boy said as he cuddle close to his mom "thank you sweetie I'll take us home soon so rest a bit while you can" she said as she gently rub his head to comfort the boy.
"Can i ask you something?" The boy said as he looked up at his mom "sure what is it?" The angel responds "I'm curious about.. how you meet dad? What was he like?" The boy was curious since its been 3 years since he last saw his dad.
The angel smiled and said "your father was human, but he was a kind man who helped me one day. Your father was strong, you could say he was my knight" "was he that brave?" The boy asked with curiosity "he was the brave, even when faced with an impose foe he stood his ground while he bought time for the villagers to escape. That's when i came and helped him faced the demon. Together we were able to defeat the demon and save the village." The boys eyes widen with excitement and amusement "the battle wasn't easy one though, we both suffered some injuries from the battle but we managed. He joked about the situation and said to me" she tries to mimic his tone of voice just to be silly "for a moment i thought i was gonna be that demon's lunch even though i told it i didn't taste good" the boy asked "did he taste bad?" The angel responded "ehhheh... he wasn't uh... anyways! He and i spent some time together, for about 2 years together we both have become close and we were bonded together." The angel sat up a bit and showed her son a ring that has a red jewel in the middle "this is our bond, our love for each other. And you are the most precious gift the heavens have given us" she hugged him a bit tightly and smiled "i love you my son" "i love you too momma"

"momma where are you?"said the little boy crying as he sees and hears something coming from the bush on his left and he sees a wolf growling and hungry as it looks and readies himself for the kill which makes the boy run as fast as he can against the icy cold wild before tripping and falling but as he looks up from where he is lying down he sees a hand welcoming to help him up and as soon as he does he sees a beautiful angel with wings laid out around beautiful as the snow as he pays no mind to the wolf who is walking around him "are you okay child" said the angel with a smile
Everytime i open TH-cam this alway comes up on the list. But i have never had the chance to post a comment cause whenever i Start listening to this beautiful masterpiece, my imagination always brings every ounce of my being into another world.

Ok, so I was listening to this on a rainy day, and the sun had hidden behind the clouds for weeks, only coming out every 3 or so days for a few hours at a time, while I was taking a test. I just ended up sitting here for 5 minutes thinking about stories. This music makes my heart yearn for the beautiful Appalachian mountains, and forces my mind to dream of so many stories.
That’s how good this is, great job Giovanni, I love this music.
A boy who was crying while sitting on the snow covered ground felt being covered. Since he is cold he couldn't feel anything. He looked up to see a beautiful angel looking at him smiling. Since the angel didn't want the child to see the Wolves and be scared she shielded him as an canopy with her wings. She started up a conversation with him
"My dear child, what are you doing out here all alone" said the angel
The boy sniffle a bit and answered
"My stepmother won't let me come inside so I came here"
Hearing the boys words the angel's smile dropped
"Where is your father?" Asked the angel
"He is out of town, he doesn't care about me either, I dont have any one"
Seeing the child's tearing face the angel made a pair of wings and a halo with some twigs.
The child smiled and screamed with joy saying I'm an angel
The child looked at the angel and said that
"You look familiar, have we met before"
"Yes my child but you've never seen me or talked but I have seen you and talked"
Before the child could answer he heard his father voice he looked around to see his father with amazed expression. The angel looked up where the man became shocked to see his late wife's face. The child clinged on to the angel's gown
"The second before I die I trusted you with my child but you broke it. I cannot let my child suffer like I did. Have your life with your mistress like you did."
The husband screamed" Athena I did wrong but don't take my child. First I lost you and now I don't want to loose my child too. I won't repeat my mistakes again"
The man cried and screamed begging
The boy realised it was his mother
"Mommy "
"Yes my love"
"Why did you leave me"
"To give you life my love"
"But I don't want this life"
"Do you want to come with me?"
"YEs...but daddy I want him too".
"I'm sorry my love I only can take you but we can come to see him"
"Ok"
The man cried and said " if you want to take him kill me and take him"
" No you should live that's your greatest punishment" with that the angel carrying her child walked towards the light leaving the man suffering for his sins

Kid: "who are you?"
Angel: "I am an angel"
Kid: "why are you here?"
Angel: "I am here to guide you out of the snowy forest"
Kid's father: "Where are you son!"
Kid: "I am here dad!"
Kid's father: He sees the angel....dropped down on his knees and cried with tears flowing down his cheeks.
Kid's father: "This was the angel that saved me when I was unconscious in the snowy forest"
Kid's father: *cried* "I have been waiting for so long to thank you for saving my life ...."
Kid's father: "I have finally got to thank you properly for saving me!"
Angel: "I have heard you now..."
The angel shortly after that perishes and disappeared into the air....
Man this music hits home, because I lost my grandma two years ago and this song helps me mourn her and to keep on going so that I may see her again, one faithful day.
It's just everything and nothing in the same time (The Peace and The purity)
I listen to this song whenever I’m writing or if I’m feeling sad or when I’m stressed about something, it really helps
The boy closed his eyes as a wolf jumps towards him and screams "mother! Ple..." he opens his eyes to the sound of wings and the cold embrace of the wind that follows
"Mom is that you?"
"I never left you my child" the angle said with a warm smile.
The boy hugged the angle tightly
"B-but you've been gone for so long.." the boy said as he looked up with tears filling his eyes
The angle just smiled and said "ive always been by your side, dont you remember?"..
This took the boy by suprise, as his mind began to flood with the warm and loving memories of his life with his mother.
His eyes no longer were full of tears but of joy and happiness, the air around him began to warm, as if they were by a fire.
The angel looked down and said "its time to go home my child"
To this the boy looked around as the world was growing dark "please dont go mother! I want to stay with you forever!" He cried.
"And you will" said the angel.. "but now you must close your eyes once more" she said with a smile.
"I dont want to!" Said the boy, as all he could see now was the Angel's face. "Please let me stay" he cried.
It all went dark and quiet.. then a familiar voice rang out in the distance.. "open your eyes my child and look" the voice said with an inviting tone.
The boy slowly opened his eyes
"There's my sweet boy." Said the voice and to this the boy just smiled.
End story.
The mother looked upon her child, proud of the boy he was becoming.
He could not see her, but he knew she was close.
His mother stretched her wings over him, only out of instinct. But it would not keep the snow off him. The spirit's of their realm could do many things, but physically impact the mortal's world was not one of them.
But the boy felt no snow on his face. He just felt the warmth... as if his mother was right there, holding herself against him in the show. He placed his new stick craft against his back and looked up.
He didn't need to see to know his mother was still there with him.

Everyone’s saying the kid died but I don’t think so... I think he met the angel and he has a habit of going outside to play with her... The picture makes me feel really whole and happy
The innocence in the child's eyes as he held the makeshift wings and halo had the winged one curious as she watched from afar. Her own feathered wings, held tight against her back, twitched slightly and traced lines in the snow, as the child ran in the snow towards the great forest beyond his village.Within, wolves howled their haunting cry and snapped their hungry jaws, contemplating their next meal would surely be the babe in the falling snow. Anticipating this, the winged one threw up her hood, spread her wings and appeared in front of the child who yelled and crashed into her legs, as she appeared. Looking at her, he took a couple of steps back and cocked his head curiously as she sheltered the snow, her molten metal halo appearing above her head as she bent slightly in a bow while the boy stared and drew his hand behind his back and made himself appear as she did.
Smiling as he held his free hand up, she heard the snarling wolves pace the boundaries, not wanting to eat the child that the angel had appeared to. For that is what she was.
