Loved this Christmas video. Keep them coming! I have a white, ceramic Christmas tree that my mother in law made for my late husband that has colored bulbs, birds and a musical base. It has a lot of sentimental value and I won’t part with it. After I’m gone my kids can decide amongst themselves who gets it, or, they can sell it and split the money. But it reminds me of him and his mom made it for him so I cherish it.
@@TheNurseFlipper oh it is! If I can dig it out I’ll send you a picture. I had to move from CA to Alabama this year so it’s got to be in one of my red and green tubs don’t you think? Merry Christmas to you and your family Kat. I’d love to meet up with you sometime. I’m in Hartselle which is near Huntsville in northern AL. Take care.
This was such a fun video and I will officially be a new subscriber! My problem with ornaments is that I find it very difficult to identify true vintage ones from newer crap ones that were just made to look older. Even some of these expensive ones you showed look to me like they could be sold anywhere for $5.99 each. So I’ll keep learning!
Hi Kat! Vintage 1950-1960’s decor is my very favorite! I’m sure, because I was a child then. 🥰 We had the plastic nativity and some of the unsilvered striped ornaments. They were made during WW2. They couldn’t use any metal at that time. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. ❤️💚❤️💚
The last ceramic Xmas tree with the plastic insert bulbs, I slip casted 5 of those darn 2 piece plaster moulds 20yrs ago, they are sooo heavy to lift when the liquid clay is tipped out, one time the thick rubber bands holding it all together broke and caused a huge puddle on the floor! 😮They are a labour of love to make with all the fettling ,cutting out the holes perfectly to hold the bulbs , slow drying, bisque firing ,hand painting the glaze then final kiln firing etc omg I wish I’d kept one of those finished trees now 😅 🙏🏼💖🌟🕊🇬🇧
Yeah, those feather trees can go for several hundreds if not up in the thousands(for taller ones). I definitely liked these ornaments better than the higher priced ornaments in the last video. These have more character. Great video! Thanks Kat!
Mrs Frugal found 3 ceramic Christmas trees about a month ago at an estate sale for 10.00 each. So they definitely are out there. One i never have seen before it was a volcano design, very different looking.
I picked up a giant 24” ceramic Christmas tree with lights from one of my neighbors curbs!! I just haven’t listed it because I’m terrified of shipping it!
I like your idea about breaking them into smaller lots because the algorithm will also put you up higher and promote you better because of your consistent sales. Is this correct?
Fellow resellers: I sold all my boxed Fontanini figures and one that was not in a box. Also sold all my Wedgewood. Radko has not sold yet and Lenox is slow.
I am curious. is Christopher Radko the same as "Old World Christmas"? I have quite a few of glass ornaments that I had been told were Old World Christmas, from Germany. They have the top that is the tree shaped hook at the top. I was told that that was how you knew they were from Germany and not from their new place of production (I don't remember where).
Hello really appreciate you and your channel thank you in a cellar on poshmark but eBay thing is killing me so I actually have the decarnin I have four of them and they're in great condition super old and it's the space cat humpty dumpty elephant and I can't remember the other one they haven't been selling as a group do I dare split them up?
I’m going to save this to watch later. A piece of advice from a bit of a noobie is, do not grab grand deals on big objects without taking into consideration the cost of shipping. I found an Americana 10 piece ceramic house set only to find shipping would be over $100! In my small town we don’t even have the option of UPS.
I inherited all of my best friends Mr Christmas items she was spoiled rotten and they're just not selling i'm just starting to think i'm a horrible seller
Peoole have gone completely out of their minds, paying $400 for one ornament, no matter what name is on it. I have been buying ornamenrs at yard sales for 30 years for a dollar or 2. I have trees filled with similar ornaments! I could be rich if I wished to sell them.

That ceramic tree has a lot of lights. Mine pretty much just has one light on each branch.
Yeah, the ones with a lot of lights can be harder to find!
Thank you for sharing! Love watching your videos! ❤

8:00 Halloween happiness more people are doing a Halloween tree!
I loved the Strongwater bauble, such lovely handiwork. Must take some time to do, so I can see why they command such premium prices.
Yes it was pretty!

It sounds like you're having a good selling season!

I don't think that they are the same but I'm not 100%
Thank you

D carlini
If they're valuable separately I would do
I’m going to save this to watch later.

Oh noooo yes definitely something to keep in mind! Great point
I find it odd that more expensive ornaments aren't the antique ones.
The highest priced ones are vintage and antquie like 500+ but at this price point a lot are newer
I agree.
Did you promote your item and do 30 % off
yes

You checked prices and have good titles and descriptions?
