I'm a flute player and honestly, Wei Wuxian's actor (don't kill me for not knowing his name please, I'm new) doesn't really get the notes right in time with the audio. It may be an syncing error, but there are clearly times he's 1. playing different notes despite the song requiring one long note, or 2. other notes (and not even talking about octaves) than the ones that are played (or that were played in that part of the song) This being said, though, if he didn't have any knowledge of the flute prior to the cdrama, I must say: hats down. The posture and hand position is pretty much right, a bit stiff at times, but overall fine. Whether it's an audio syncing problem or he's actually playing the wrong notes/lengths of notes, he's doing a pretty good job at getting the position of the notes right, which is kinda hard for beginners even over the course of a few months. As for the flute scenes, and I'm not talking about the ones when he was playing it, aside from the fights (which, lmao, that's pure flutist energy right there, but none of us would say it & it's not recommended to hit people with our flutes xD), him carrying his flute everywhere (meals, visits, etc.) and twirling it in the air almost every chance he gets is pretty much accurate. We're pretty much chaotic energy and he's portraying us right, by coincidence or not.

What's great is that Yibo also explains that he doesn't mean that Xiao Zhan can just cry on command but that XZ gets so into character and in the moment of the scene that he fills with emotion and cries naturally. XZ said that he didn't need to cry at the script read, but he and Shijie were so moved by the scene and their characters' pain that they just started sobbing. That's true emotional, not just physical, acting!

jinho finesse it kind of adds up, 2 years of writing scripts, figuring out sets and casting. 2 weeks of training and script reading, 5 months filming and another few months of editing the episodes (those are 50 episodes which include quite a lot of editing like cgi and etc)
On the second day of rehearsals, Yibo actually laugh along with Zhan and become close friends with him fast. That’s not really often to see Yibo being open so fast. Just to say, Zhan is someone very special.
First time to see Chinese actors preparing, being guided, directed through their paces. Very interesting, intriguing! This has piqued my excitement about this drama. Will return viewing it. Had become a bit disenchanted. But seeing the leads follow their script added a new dimension. Hope to see these types of ‘behind the scenes’ for Chinese dramas again. Mahalo!!
Mitika Kapoor he didn't survive, he died after getting pushed down and that was basically a flashback, after that someone else set up an array for soul Summoning and brought the mc 'S soul back and incarnated into that person that set up the soul summoning array (person name is mo xuan yu)
The amount of hard work all of them put into cql is amazing. They all learned to play musical instruments, learned martial arts, calligraphy, posture, etc. The way they got all the details of the drama down to a T before the actual filming (like making sure their tone is right for a specific line, or just even facial expressions).....just WOW. It’s no wonder cql/the untamed turned out to be one of the best dramas of 2019 (tho honestly, it’s easily THE BEST chinese drama of the decade, in my opinion)
They don't need to practice their tone because all of their voices are dubbed over in studio by other voice actors except for nie huaisong who dubbed himself.
You can really see how passionate the whole cast and the whole production team in making this series perfect. So proud of these people and it indeed exceeds my expectations. A job well done and can't wait for the rest of the episodes! Sending lots of love and support from the Philippines 😍💕

Neha Ram i might not be the best person to answer this. I never know the answer as well just that it also happen on other chinese dramas as well not only this, so its common thing? Maybe bec they believe that the potrayal of emotion in the sound is also important? They use WWX audio drama dubber and LWJ donghua dubber, respectively so i believe is not about just wanting to dub the actor sound because they even find the dub who are potraying the same character as well.
@@neharam4928 Chinese dramas would be dubbed because: China has different dialects and it is easy to assume that not everyone can speak mandarine fluently and without an accent. Background noises, sound equipment is quite expensive so it's cheaper to dub actors voice. Also to keep the emotions etc. Etc.This are few reason why some Chinese dramas are dubbed and it's a common thing.

I lately finished the untamed, and what an awesome drama with a suspenseful plot it was, especially that it transmits chivalry among many other values. Honesty I didnt thought i would say this after the first episodes in which i was confused with evrything . Xiao Zhan literally stole my heart with his performance!! like i can't get over the drama because of him and how amazingly he portrays his character! this is why I keep rewatching highlights of his scenes. this bts shows also how dedicated he is as an actor! and on top of that he is a very handsome man with beautiful expressive eyes !! When I watched his bts I find out that he is a really warm person too and a pure boy too which is refreshing to see! I also loved the actor who played Jin Guangyao so much!!! the props, the make up, the special effects, the places, the costumes, eveything was beautiful, sometimes i wd notice smth that could have been better but all in all the untamed is an unforgettable drama, at least for me.

That explains why this wonderful drama is epic. The hard work, dedication and attention to details, was considerable. I love the show (the plot, the costumes, the scenography, special effects, the nice acting and fight sequences, alongside many other aspects), what a shame that it doesn't have more seasons.
maaad respect for the entire cast for pulling through such gruesome training, hot summer, sleepless nights, & more. Despite the backlash and controversy and whatever negative hearsay came their way, they proved all the haters wrong. From no guarantee of success of the drama because of the risque nature of the story, to becoming one of the most loved dramas internationally, I am so so so overly happy for them. May success continue to blossom upon all of them. Just seeing this BTS makes me love this drama even more along with all those who worked on it.

This drama is great! The characters are dressed in white, they all look like elves from Rivendale in Lords of the rings, tall and slender. Subtitles in English is very good. Chinese sceneries are so beautiful and unique,I can’t wait for every episode after 6. Thank you for this one.
The whole cast is brilliant. They gave their all, put their hearts on it and we are so thankful. My mum is 69 years old and is COMPLETELY in love The Untamed. She even asked me to read the novel. So that's how powerful everyone's acting was. THANK YOU, GUYS. From the bottom of my heart. I cannot imagine another cast playing Mo Dao Zu Shi as well as this one.

It's common (more likely required) in China to take lesson in advance when they're preparing classic drama, not just Untamed.

Xiao zhan and Wang Yi Bo voice is actually subbed but they still are doing the dialogue training thoroughly and the team also make sure their dialogue is correct. This really made me happy 😃 😊😊

Neha Ram i might not be the best person to answer this. I never know the answer as well just that it also happen on other chinese dramas as well not only this, so its common thing? Maybe bec they believe that the potrayal of emotion in the sound is also important? They use WWX audio drama dubber and LWJ donghua dubber, respectively so i believe is not about just wanting to dub the actor sound because they even find the dub who are potraying the same character as well.
@@neharam4928 Chinese dramas would be dubbed because: China has different dialects and it is easy to assume that not everyone can speak mandarine fluently and without an accent. Background noises, sound equipment is quite expensive so it's cheaper to dub actors voice. Also to keep the emotions etc. Etc.This are few reason why some Chinese dramas are dubbed and it's a common thing.
@@neharam4928 I read somewhere that there is a lot of noise when shooting Wuxia dramas and due to this the dialogues can't be recorded properly so that's why these dramas are dubbed.
@@yeonievixx2593 HK has wuxia dramas too, but they don't use voice actors unless the actor/actress doesn't speak Cantonese.

honestly say , there are so many handsome boys , that ’s “ xiao Xian rou “ . but whether could be famous is based on the charactors that the drama expressed . wei xu Xian is really a charming character because he have the ability to pick up the love of another one , people watching also be picked up by him , that is the key :)

I know they aren't gonna make this like the original story but I hope they won't stray so much from it. Anyways, I love the casts and the series already. They're all so beautiful, specially Xiao Zhan and they're great in acting too!!

I lately finished the untamed, and what an awesome drama with a suspenseful plot it was, especially that it transmits chivalry among many other values. Honesty I didnt thought i would say this after the first episodes in which i was confused with evrything .
Xiao Zhan literally stole my heart with his performance!! like i can't get over the drama because of him and how amazingly he portrays his character! this is why I keep rewatching highlights of his scenes. this bts shows also how dedicated he is as an actor! and on top of that he is a very handsome man with beautiful expressive eyes !! When I watched his bts I find out that he is a really warm person too and a pure boy too which is refreshing to see! I also loved the actor who played Jin Guangyao so much!!! the props, the make up, the special effects, the places, the costumes, eveything was beautiful, sometimes i wd notice smth that could have been better but all in all the untamed is an unforgettable drama, at least for me.

That explains why this wonderful drama is epic. The hard work, dedication and attention to details, was considerable. I love the show (the plot, the costumes, the scenography, special effects, the nice acting and fight sequences, alongside many other aspects), what a shame that it doesn't have more seasons.
maaad respect for the entire cast for pulling through such gruesome training, hot summer, sleepless nights, & more. Despite the backlash and controversy and whatever negative hearsay came their way, they proved all the haters wrong. From no guarantee of success of the drama because of the risque nature of the story, to becoming one of the most loved dramas internationally, I am so so so overly happy for them. May success continue to blossom upon all of them. Just seeing this BTS makes me love this drama even more along with all those who worked on it.

Thank you very much for all the hard work. I miss them so much much that I am re watching the BTSs also. I still haven't moved on. I didn't even watch any drama in 2020. I would start a drama/series but just after a episode I left that and watched CQL again. I have already re watched it like 20 times.

This drama is great! The characters are dressed in white, they all look like elves from Rivendale in Lords of the rings, tall and slender. Subtitles in English is very good. Chinese sceneries are so beautiful and unique,I can’t wait for every episode after 6. Thank you for this one.

So that's how powerful everyone's acting was. THANK YOU, GUYS. From the bottom of my heart. I cannot imagine another cast playing Mo Dao Zu Shi as well as this one.
