I have in my two-story apartment that door that covers the staircase. Dad came up with it and installed it, a great idea that saves space on the floor, and there is no noise, the floors are soundproofed, the smells from cooking are not felt, the heating does not escape to the upper floor, great.
Interesting ideas but would have been better as a shorter vid with fewer repeats and back and forth with the perspective. The same scene over and again then mirror imaged just made it look stupid.
I thought the same thing when watching a show on finding Bigfoot! Get a helicopter and some flair goggles and fly around at night and it should pop out like crazy!
I made a secret door. It looks like a built in bookcase and you pull on a fake book to open it. I made it as the door to my daughter's bedroom. She loves reading and books, so it was as gift for her. I figured it could double as a panic room. But, on the bottom there is a cat door. It is hard to see while standing but her cat would probably walk out and give it away.
Ok, this video was posted Nov 25, 2020 and the first example shows a high tech sliding cabinet display wall with a TV from the 70's on the shelf. Does that make any sense?
Really?! Instead of showing the same images and parts of video more than once, by inverting it, maybe you should talk less, or get more footage. After three hidden designs...I gave up....thumbs down!
What you do is add a completely concealed hidden room beyond that to throw people off. So you go through the obvious door and then go through the completely concealed door.
The entertainment center in the begining could be improved by having a flat piece of wood grain offset where the 2 pieces come together hiding the junction making it look like one piece.
You can hide the entrance to your secret room, but how do you hide the fact that there’s a portion of the interior space of the house that is unaccounted for? someone would notice.
So either make it a small secret room Or build underground. Lots of modern home owners in England found spacious secret cellars only sfgdf many years kf living
A lot of those bookcase ones I've seen don't have a way to open it once you close it when you're on the inside which is both dangerous and stupid because what's the point of having a secret room if you have to open the door every time you want to go in there and leave it open so you don't lock yourself in
Thank You for the great video & awesome content! I freaking love seeing things like this in homes! If I ever come into an obscene gaggle of money & can afford to design a home to build it has to have @ least 1 or 2 of these little gems like this!
Cool stuff but this video was stretched out to 10 minutes by using the same footage but mirrored. Pretty sure there is a magic number for time in a video that the creator has to reach to get something from TH-cam.
It's 10 mins so that you have adds in the vid as well as at the beginning and end. This guy is taking the piss, bang on 10 mins of flipped and repeated rubbish that other people and companies have created for him to snag and get add rev from
Most contractors don't use centimeters, I doubt homeowners would find it any easier. They can at least buy a tape measure at that same Home Depot that shows fractions of an inch. Love the ideas though.
Blame TH-cam; they control that. TH-cam only allows content creators to allow/disallow ads from what I understand from content creators who have mentioned this.
@ 4:17 That thing is quickly going to fill up with spiders. In a security emergency, you'll be crawling in with a bunch of creepy crawlies. Good luck staying quiet... LOL
How about this, multi million dollar mansion on the cliffs. In the master bedroom closet is a small 2 ft by 2 ft hatch, on the other side of the hatch door is a narrow 150 meter slide to the secluded beach and rocks down below.
How to stretch 2 minutes of video to 10 minutes. Show the same clips over and over normally and in mirror image.....
Ikr
Yep. This is the comment I was looking for.
He does that to get monetization so he can win money
exactly what I was going to write...
But sometimes he mirrors the image...that makes it different lol
All these electric doors are cool but you'd better have a battery backup or manual release in case the power goes out.
Exactly thats why i stick with hinges
How to stretch a door video to 10 minutes: Show the actual door for 1 second then show every detail of the room behind it for 5 minutes; repeat.
Don't forget you have to flip the video, then show it again.
Don't forget the 30 year old tv
Lol the flipping the video I laugh when they do that
REPEAT REPEAT FLIP REPEAT REPEAT
REPEAT REPEAT FLIP REPEAT REPEAT
REPEAT REPEAT FLIP REPEAT REPEAT
REPEAT REPEAT FLIP REPEAT REPEAT
REPEAT REPEAT FLIP REPEAT REPEAT

I design and build these. Making them undetectable is the thrill.
In 2 years id like ur info
I bet it is, very interesting projects you get to work on
@@ZtheWusky I'll be around
How do I contact you for a build? 👀🤫
@@justinm9298I'm not sure what is safe to post here. Any ideas?
50% repeats, otherwise known as filler. Could be 5 minutes long, not 10.
🙆
2X 💵
House settling would take the thrill right out of these.
The Museum on O Street in Washington DC is full of secret doors that you are encouraged to explore and discover. Few people find them all.
Ha that’s nothing I have a whole house behind my front door
Lol
Nicely done Shannon!
2 thumbs up!
Nice one lol, I have similar humour.
Underrated

I saw a bookcase and yanked off every book looking for the secret door. Unfortunately, I was at the library.
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, you think if I would ever believe you. I was barely half way through when I got kicked out of my school library.
0:46 “This unit is a passageway to a secret gaming room”...yeah, and by the looks of that TV, your game room is located in the 1980’s...😏
I noticed that too.
The 1980s weren't that bad...
Time travel would be interesting...
Fuckin A, right! All they're missing is a couple arcade cabs, Atari 2600, ColecoVision and a Vectrex. 😎
Interesting ideas but would have been better as a shorter vid with fewer repeats and back and forth with the perspective. The same scene over and again then mirror imaged just made it look stupid.
Really amazing thnxs epic ideas;)
Undefeated hide and go seek champion!
To be smart, if one wants to hide these days, one should line their secret room with a heat shield, which blocks infrared heat detection.
I thought about that too and away to het out in case you accidentally get stuck.
I thought the same thing when watching a show on finding Bigfoot! Get a helicopter and some flair goggles and fly around at night and it should pop out like crazy!
Just line the walls with some type of foil to act as an insulator and make sure the room has air conditioning to prevent overheating.
The secret passage. Reminds me of seeing a bottom kitchen door leading to a basement. Childhood memories 😉.
The hiding spot is really smart I like how you going to make it
You make that
On one of your videos

That first design is certainly modern, as in modern 1970s, judging by the look of the TV set.
Nothing wrong with that. What's old is new again, as they say. There's a reason why CRT's are still desirable for classic gaming. 😉
All I need now is to own a house that I can put a secret room in.
Stuff like that perfect especially zombie apocalypse or Ww3
There's a video on my channel how I bought two houses by age 26 no bullshit just working and not spending money on stupid stuff

Lots of repeat of the same clip, don't waste your time watching.....I stopped before half way.
Straight to the comments. Thanks
The only way some of these doors could be invisible is if Stevie Wonder is looking for them.
He would locate their "invisible" button with ease having heightened sense of feel.
dothese hidden doors work during blackouts?
3 mill well done

That is exactly what I did ...
Ever since I was a kid I always wanted a secret room lol
When I was 5 my favorite movie was the gremlins.
@@jacob2790 I saw that movie before we owned a microwave so the microwave part was pretty cool and scary to me as a kid lol
I see a lotta reversed screen work to take up time

Need to get it over 10mins for that cash
what hinges did u use for murphy door
I love technology 😘♥️♥️♥️
Because squaring and leveling a door frame is something everyone can do!
Is this the copy, or is the video right above it the copy?
Great creativity n inventory of secret doors and rooms.
I want all of them but the last one more for me!!! Where do I get it???
Let's put a glass door in the floor as a "secret" passage to another room. Talk about the "elephant in the room"!
What you do is add a completely concealed hidden room beyond that to throw people off. So you go through the obvious door and then go through the completely concealed door.
Dang. Old ass TV, but fancy hidden door
Oh WOW a bookcase?

They end clips right before you can see the border. 95% of the clip is watching the door close. So we don't get to see how hidden it really is.
Slowdown Moving camera to fast heart some people eyes, thank you the idea are grate thank you
A door made of tinted glass isn't a "hidden door."
dunno why there is so many haters beneath my comment but this video opens my mind
OMG!! The music! Make it stop!! Make it stop!! Oh, guess it evens out the 7 minutes of filler video.
And so loud I couldn't hear the guy speaking
@Boricano 21 lol I love some of their tunes. As an audio engineer I appreciate their mix.
Wow - 'complately' silent - that certainly makes the difference.

Preparing to reenact "The Hidden Staircase " by Carolyn Keene!

Know what would make a great video? Showing the same scenes 8 times in a row.
Don't forget to mirror it too!
I love how for all of the ones that go downstairs...
Nobody is ever going to wonder what happened to
the big missing space in the basement...
OK NICE
How many times are you gonna show the same thing!?!?
3:57 "It puts the lotion on its skin or else- HEY! GET BACK IN THERE!"
I certainly agree with Ian W and was actually going to mention pretty much the same thing. What a waste!
For the first one they would need to have an empty area to the right about three feet wide for the wall to slide into.
So cool.
10 TH-cam commercials, 1 per min of video #Fail
Blame TH-cam; they control that. TH-cam only allows content creators to allow/disallow ads from what I understand from content creators who have mentioned this.
after watching this video i now have trust issues with
floors
bookcases
built in shelfs
cracks in stone walls
metal borders on the floor
and much more
Stop using mirrored videos! It is most annoying
What kind of opener was on the stone cellar door? I need one.
I would have one hell of an armory in there
Those access through the floor were pathetic others were brilliant.
First time ever viewed under
5mins.
Music is kind of loud over the talking, hard to hear what guy is saying.
Just typical of these types of videos
Repeating shaky video over and over without actually giving details about the construction is very annoying. Thumbs down.
Love secret passages ☺️

this video works great if you want to get dizzie and puck
