@@chrisscottdoes I’ll be putting together a review video of all three versions very soon. Been running them all summer alongside the usual suspects and been very impressed
@@GuyKesTV I'll be looking forward to seeing that. I literally just unpacked the SS version and am looking forward to taking them for a spin. Coming from Rene Hurst and I've been having issues with their tire durability. Hoping that the new Gravel Kings will give me the same or improved speed but with more durability.
I saw these advertised yesterday and thought, they look interesting....The 45's look the best bet.... I've ridden SK's (crap in mud but 10/10 for everything else) and the SS's on my old road bike (28c) and they're fabulous.... I'm on Hutchinson Tundra's on my gravel bike at present and there's still a lot of wear in them but these will definitely be considered.....
Panaracer need to provide more info about their tyres on their website, at least the Gravel Kings that I've looked at. They don't even list the recommended pressures.
Hopefully Jeff is reading the comments but I’ll pass that on anyway. Recommended pressures are a hard one these days because there are so many different terrain / load / rim possibilities on ‘gravel’
@GuyKesTV enjoy, I'm p... off snow foam came out and cancelled my ride out on Whyte ebike in the Forest of Dean on Saturday. Now I've have to book up in Exeter, and if I miss that I will have to come up North 🤣🤣 laters
GK SK+ are my go to, with my only gripe being difficulty in seating them, I wonder if this has been remedied. Not a fan of the non + casings, I'm 15st (95kg) though mind.
Could really do with some more aggressive tyres for UK conditions. Been using the Gravelking EXT but still not great in thick mud. Spose I am talking about a MTB tyre really aren't I? 😂😂
Then give us a 700x50mm Panaracer slick please. The Rene Herse variant isn't worth the extra to me. 40mm max is less that the 43mm max if the previous gen Slicks. Ooof.
This is the best breakdown of the new Gravel King tires online period. Very helpful. Thanks for contributing this. Great Interview!

Tundras last pretty well eh!

Used to love panaracer tyres in early days of mbt these x1 look good interested to see reviews
I’ll get em tested ASAP mate
I don't understand why Panaracer doesn't make a 700x48c slick? They make that size for Rene Herse and Soma.
I’ve passed your comments on to Jeff and he says ‘watch this space’
Thanks Guy

I’m a big fan of the Spesh Rhombus and WTB Nano for UK shite
@@GuyKesTV Will have a look at the Rhombus.
Thanks!
Always got on well with the WTB Resolute.
Vittoria Mezcal comes in a 700x44mm and that's a fun setup.
@@mellissanash7517that sounds worth a try
@@GuyKesTV curious to see how that size performs vs the more popular 2.25s

100 percent on your comment for a 700x 48 SLICK!!!!
the most important one does it come in purple
Colours coming soon Luke
When inflated i thought it looked like a transformer logo 🤔
"even faster than the slicks"?? Can he validate this claim?
Let the guy finish his sentence! 🤦♂
