Yep, Live in Ashford, about 10 miles east of Dothan. My backyard was flooded. Thankfully, my house is up a hill from the ditch that overflowed, so no damage to the house, but my shed was ruined. Bunch of storage of things I never planned to use anymore, so not a huge loss, but a major annoyance though.
Not as common in any one location, but its a rather rainy state. Tornadoes are very common up north, but dothan being so far south avoids most of them, being outside of Dixie Alley. But floods and hurricanes that impact the gulf can be pretty common. In the last 13 years, I've personally been impacted by floods. Once in 2011, once during Hurricane Michael in 2018, and then back on the 12th.
I have visited Dothan and liked the city. I wouldn’t have minded living there. Prayers to you all.
Dothan Alabama is just up the Road 🛣️ across the State Line , about 35 Miles North ⬆️.

The rain was crazy in PCB today. I hope no one hurt in the flooding.
What a wonderful video! Thank you!
Water makes the view so beautiful.
Right, whatever
Is there constant flooding in this state?

The shot of the railroad makes it look like poor maintenance of the creek channel under a bridge may be a contributing factor.
