    This one is mental for me. I need to find the right quarter to try it on. I have done some on steep transition when there is no metal coping but the coping gets in my head.
    Love that bowl at the end. Looks great.

      Coping is your friend. If it didn't help you, it wouldn't be a thing. I know hanging up is super scary, but like for rolling in, feeling the bump is much easier than rolling into transition without feeling when the transition starts. Also, you can bail this trick but you need at least kneepads because as he pointed out, you aren't going to run it out.

    Great advice Wazza. It's a must to be able to cruise around any skatepark with confidence and roll in everywhere.

    I can drop in just fine, but rolling in takes me back to when I first tried to drop in. It is scary as heck.

    I have such a fear that my back wheels will hit the coping and the deck will just stop and I'll go flying forward. I know this won't happen if I go fast enough but I can't get that thought out of my. head.

    Hardest slam I've ever taken was getting hung up learning this lol. Twice in a row too. 5 foot transition.

    • @WarrenLeeds
      @WarrenLeeds  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That sounds like it was very unpleasant indeed! I hope that you did eventually master the drop in on this 5 foot transition. 👍😊🛹

      @@WarrenLeeds many many moons ago when I was an avid skateboarder. Late 90's early 00's. Those slams did get in my head a little bit though. There's just no bracing yourself for slamming hips and shoulders on flat concrete that quickly. I'd rather kick flip a 10 stair repeatedly 😆

    So what I noticed from the slowmotion is that you initiated the drop-in movement the moment your back wheels touch the coping, can you use that contact moment as the moment to drop in or will we already be too late?

    • @WarrenLeeds
      @WarrenLeeds  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, that is the perfect time to initiate the drop in motion. Just remember to be light on your feet as your wheels bounce over the coping of the ramp. 👍😊🛹

    So ive seen other tutorials and they say you have to give it a little hop on my back foot? or is it plain simple just manual in with enough speed of course, cheers mate!

    • @WarrenLeeds
      @WarrenLeeds  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      If you’re light on your feet while doing a manual at speed into the transition. The back wheels of your skateboard will naturally bounce off or over the coping. This is to my knowledge the hop that other tutorials speak about. I concentrate more on my upper body weight, being light on my feet and front wheels more than performing a hop.
      I hope this explanation gives you some clarity.
