Dealing with depression myself, I know the feeling when listening to Lana's music. She puts her finger right on the sore spot, that's why I love her music. Depression can give the feeling like you're alone in this situation and no one else understands you, her music just feels very comforting to me to realize she knows what i'm going through. In my opinion is a more uplifting song about eternal love and for what you share in your videos about everything you've been through I think you will relate to it! She has many good songs, but I would definitely recommend Young and Beautiful. Partly because it's a great song, and partly because it's one of her less depressing works.

+FrozenRoxas I was an active alcoholic for 23 years- when you drink, generally you drink to kill pain. You have a feeling, an emotion, that hurts. When you drink, you don't feel it. The problem is, you lose the ability to FEEL anything after so much drinking- then you become DESPERATE to feel ANYTHING. I've been sober since 2000 except a four month period after my wife died- I drank for 4 months to keep from feeling, then quit and have been sober again since. Even though I have been sober for 16 years, I still find it difficult to FEEL anything... except sadness. I wear sadness like a familiar old jacket.
