I find it hilarious that they're two Koreans speaking to each other and to the Taiwanese audience in English lol, a language that probably isnt the native language of any party there. Ig English is a universal language after all
i see these two as being professional.. i mean as a fan of jiyong, it seems he is being gentleman to IU, as his fan, if he is comfortable with a 'girl' friend, he kinda likes to tease and be playful but to IU he seems very careful, like being an older brother. tbh i ship jiyong to another celebrity which everyone would know if i mention her name. but IU is a really a sweet lady..
He's very comfortable with his female friends. Hugging and stuffs is a norm, there's photos of him doing that everywhere including to female fans. What isn't normal is how he's acting too shy here because he normally wasn't like that. His gift to IU also isn't something you would normally gifted to a concert guest although she wasn't the only one receiving handcrafted gift from him but it was the first where it wasn't any fashion item but instead her album that was decorated like a scrapbook/art journal. From what I see here, he's interested but she look at it as a professional job plus friend zoned him. They may not be an item but definitely there's something up, at least one sided. Many people who had these also managed to remain friends so there's nothing strange about it. They're cute together and that's all.
