I just saw these guys for maybe the fifth time, with the new fiddle and mandolin. They were stellar. Oddly enough, they no longer perform this song, one of my favorites. A unisex fishing boat named after a surrealist painter involved in one of the biggest art scandals of the century. Evan Murphy is a clever writer with a great set of pipes. I'll never get tired of his stuff. And the new fiddler brings some serious country-western chops to the mix.
Mile Twelve you rock!!! Would love to see you back at Jenny Brook again. This is my favorite of your songs. Nice beat! Never forget the fiddle lesson I took with Bronwyn. So talented!
Bronwyn is a great fiddler, and just about nobody could imagine how they'd replace her, but the new kid does a great job filling her shoes in an entirely different way.
Pretty good for Berklee kids. I just saw the bass player in Hamden, CT, so naturally I have to see the rest of the band to see if they're anywhere near as great as he is. Sounds like it from this tune. That's some kick-butt banjo, for sure.

I'd love to take a few banjo lessons from BB. I've been playing banjo more years than she's been alive, and her style just blows me away!!
