❃Mystic Falls | Covington, GA | Vampire Diaries - The Originals - Legacies❃

The last day of our road trip to Helen, GA! On our way back home we checked our Covington, GA. This is where The Vampire Diaries was filmed! It was such a fan girl moment! We arrived at 9am at The Welcome Center. Its free to roam around + there's so many tokens from the set. You will be everything from The Vampire Diaries, The Originals & Legacies. We didn't do a tour this time, but I would do it the next time I visit!
We got a map at The Welcome Center with the address of Elena's house and such. So, we drove around to check those out. Just a reminder to be respectful as people do live in these homes. We got hungry and checked out Bread & Butter! This is Ian's favorite breakfast spot. We walked around the square and I got some photos of the clock tower + Mystic Grill! We checked out the gift shop under the Mystic Grill as well. This area has the alley way in most of the scenes from Vampire Diaries.
I would suggest getting at the Mystic Grill early! There can be alia line and wait time. Our food was soo yummy! You have to try the fried pickles!! I got the grouper sandwich, and it was good. After our lunch, we got to walk around the restaurant and checked out their hall of fame. We did go on a Monday but when we left the place was pretty packed! We walked around the square for a bit and headed back home to Florida!
