Awesome steam kettle! I love to cook big batches of food, but I certainly don’t have a pot that big! If I had one that big, I’d consider putting it on a trailer with a good size gas tank, find a group to volunteer with and then go to disaster areas cooking up big batches of free food for the volunteers and local people who aren’t able to cook food or get food.
Grape jelly on a bun! We miss scrapple, here in West Virginia we rarely find it and what we do find isn't good. We lived in Lancaster County PA and Amish made scrapple is the best!
I grew up in Baltimore City eating RAPA scrapple that my mother dipped in all-purpose flour seasoned liberally with salt and pepper. In our household we ate fried scrapple with tomato ketchup. The play of the cane sugar sweetness which was offset by the sourness and acidity of the vinegar in the ketchup, as well as the tomato flavor profile made for a perfect foil against the fattiness of the scrapple. Nowadays, I use Primal Kitchen sugar-free ketchup instead.

There's a local deli in downtown Baltimore City that sells a breakfast sandwich that they call a *"Hobo."* It consists of the bread of your choice *(white, wheat, rye, bagel, biscuit),* the meat of your choice *(ham, bacon, turkey bacon, sausage patty, scrapple),* one *egg* cooked the way you desire, and a very generous portion of *mashed potato hash browns* fried until both sides are crispy. I purchase mine as follows..... *Toasted and buttered rye bread* *Sliced yellow onion* *Egg fried hard* *Salt and pepper* *Scrapple fried extra crispy* *Hash browns fried extra crispy* *Swiss cheese (extra cost)* A *LOT* of the locals that live in the area or who work in the downtown United States Mail Distribution Center and the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center add *grape jelly* to their Hobo sandwich.
Good day to you guys. Huge fan of your videos. Your family is a reflection of how I grew up in Mississippi. But for my syrup selection. It's Bro Rabbit syrup. Keep doing what you do. I love it brother.
That's an awesome cooker ! I have never seen one before like that . I think I would like mustard on mine . You should start selling your scrapple . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !

Being a mere European, I had to google 'scrapple' to find out what it is! Sounds errr.... 'interesting' and great for utilising waste! Much like a sausage I suppose? Must try it some time!
You should try as a scrapple, egg and cheese with ketchup on bread . That's the breakfast of early morning farm equipment auctions in Sussex and Kent counties Delaware.
Scrapple apple butter egg and cheese sandwich toasted. That's how I used to eat it. I haven't had it in a long time since I moved to Puerto Rico because they don't have it here
I saw your other scrapple video also. Thank you brother I'm going to buy a pig for slaughter soon once I get it I will ask for some tips. Thanks again!
That unit is known as a self contained steam kettle, meant for places that don't have a live steam generating system. I wish Micah would have shown the build spec plate for this jacketed steam kettles, would be nice to know how many gallons it was. This kettle would also be good in a beer home brew system all it needs is a false bottom to keep brewing grains from draining through the draw off spout.
I enjoy my scrapple plane, but a little maple syrup don't hurt. I'm telling you my favorite way to eat scrapple and a whole ton load of people in the MD DE va area eat scrapple egg and cheese sandwiches. They isn't nothing better for breakfast.
Five gallon of liver wurst and 10 gallons of broth/ water If you don’t have that much meat and broth just add the flours until you get the right consistency and stop.
I'm thinking sorghum molasses, or pear preserves spread over top of that scrapple PaPaw!!! So good it'll make your tongue reach up slap your eyeballs out! 👀👅😂😂😂🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My Mother’s family likes ketchup. I call it Philadelphia style. We also use ketchup on eggy bread which is French toast with no sugar or spices added. Also Philadelphia style.
