The guitar player in a band I really like was playing a strange wobbly chorus sound in a live video but he didn’t have a chorus pedal on his board, only a POG2 so I was looking for how to get a chorus sound from the POG2 and this delivered the answer and more. Thanks a lot! BTW when I write and record demos to share with my bandmates I always use the POG2 as bass guitar haha. They‘ve never noticed haha. Really handy for recording.
Hi man. Thanks for the video. Thats great. But i can not get the same fluting sound with the same settings. Are you using another effect pedal with it as well ?
@@ejderazizpeker8308 That kind of depends on your pedal, but the settings I would have used with my old Yamaha compressor can be seen in some of my older videos. e.g. th-cam.com/video/kuiA922WwEs/w-d-xo.html
Well in theory any auto-swell pedal with adjustable attack should do it, but I've not tried any personally. They are a lot cheaper than a POG 2 though. The TC crescendo is about £30.
Wow, this video is so helpful! I've had my POG2 for 5 years and hadn't tried most of these tones before. Can't wait to plug it in and test it!

Excellent video, EXCELLENT. Thanks for posting!
This is an awesome video, I had no idea about these tricks that I can pull off with this guy
Extremely helpful video. Thanks for posting!
You're welcome. Thanks for commenting. :-)
I'm a one man band from here on out
2:07 and 1:49 are great chorus alternatives in the spirit of the Eventide MicroPitch.
I saw both the guitar player and bass player of Model/Actriz get some cool sounds out of this
5:21 WALKING ON DA' MOON
Thankyou!
My pleasure!
I think 05:22 would have been a bit more convincing as a Synth Bass with the attack removed. Like in the Violin sound before.
That second effect instantly reminded me of Bucket Head's music!
That's cool. If only I could play like him.

Hi. TBH I can't actually remember, but there's a chance I was using a bit of compression. HTH.
@@thehont8648 what should be the settings of Compressor pedals ?

purple haze !!

leave it to the Brits to give us a proper articulate explanation of how a thing works.
👍🇺🇸❤
Are you running this pedal in the effects loop or the front of the app? 🤘🏾🎶🤘🏾
Front, but it'll work in an FX loop too.
@@thehont8648 Thank you for this video. I just got a Pog 2 and loving it. This video was extremely helpful. 🤘🏾🎶🤘🏾
Is there a pedal that only makes that sound 4:18? is that buying the pog 2 just for that is a lot of money haha

@@thehont8648 Thanks, I'll find it!
hey nice $350 usd booster!
Great ideas for my presets, thank you!
