That's a wonderful idea to sing forgotten Christmas carols dear Daniel. I love to write Christmas songs of all styles and there will be a Christmas project! Much enjoyed to hear you sing this old forgotton carol today. Best wishes ~ lynn the poet 🎶🕯🎄⭐🎼
Regarding the "other" song with the similar tile, originally it was a Charles Wesley 10-verser (glorious), and before others cut it down and sanitized it into the hark the herald angels sing we know today, it was theologically much more about a wholistic healing of the entire earth, in connection to the birth of Christ--in fact a lastFM article described it as an early work of ecotheology.

I love this one, love your take on it, Daniel!
Love Christmas carols !!! Absolutely gorgeous, Daniel !!!!!! 🎄
Thanks Elisa, excited about what I might find!
I love your revisiting of these ancient carols. This one sounds magnificent in your vocals, dear Daniel. How very beautiful!
Thanks Linda! I wonder what makes some carols popular, and others forgotten?

Very nice! Thanks for bringing this one back. I don't think I've heard it before.
Thanks for listening, I suspect no one has heard it for over 100 years.
