Bedtime stories for kids in English : Once upon a time, in the very beginning of everything, there was a beautiful garden called Eden. It was filled with colorful flowers, tall trees, and delicious fruits. In this magical garden, God decided to create the first people.
First, God took some dust from the ground and shaped it into a man. Then, He breathed life into the man, and the man became alive. God named him Adam. Adam was very special because he was the first person ever created.
God saw that Adam needed a friend, someone to share the beautiful garden with. So, while Adam was asleep, God took one of Adam’s ribs and made it into a woman. When Adam woke up, he was overjoyed to meet the woman. He named her Eve. Eve was also very special because she was the first woman ever created.
Adam and Eve lived happily in the Garden of Eden. They took care of the animals, explored the beautiful garden, and enjoyed all the delicious fruits. God gave them only one rule: they could eat from any tree in the garden except one the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. If they ate from this tree, they would know about good and bad things, and it would make them sad.
For a long time, Adam and Eve were very happy. They listened to God’s rule and enjoyed their wonderful life. But one day, a sneaky snake came to Eve. The snake told Eve that if she ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, she would become very wise, like God.
Eve was curious and took a bite of the fruit. She gave some to Adam, and he ate it too. Suddenly, they felt different. They realized they had disobeyed God’s rule, and they felt ashamed and sad.
God was very sad that Adam and Eve had disobeyed Him. He told them that because they had eaten the fruit, they would have to leave the beautiful garden and live in the outside world. Life would be harder, but God promised to always love them and take care of them.
And so, Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden, but they carried with them God’s promise of love. They started a new life and had many children, and that’s how all people came to be. Adam and Eve’s story reminds us to listen to God and to always try our best to do what is right.
