    Wow! Really cool catch, mate! I didn't even know any -700s had split winglets yet! If much more 737-700s get split winglets, then I'm excited for WestJet to get them! Liked! :)

      CJets Planespotting So far I think there is 2 737-700 with SSW, the other one is a brand new BBJ in BOD for cabin outfitting (N506BJ) ;)
      Thank you very much mate!! :DD

    This Jet is owned by Dennis Washington which owns the company that manufactures the winglets. That is why he had the winglets first (probably testing them with Boeing's permission).

    This is the step above the 737-700 BBJ (next generation) it's called the 737 MAX

    • @GVASpotter
      @GVASpotter  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +No One Absolutely not, this is a BBJ simply retro fitted with Split Scimitar Winglets ;) The 737 MAX isn't out yet...

      stavros papadopoulos These are not 737MAX winglets, these are "Split Scimitar Winglets" retrofitted on 737NG on demand. 737MAX winglets are slightly different
