Another stellar review guys! I think you're dead on with this one, the original was much more ominous and followed the old horror trope of what the audience doesn't see can be more frightening than what plays directly on screen.
Also in 1955, the world's first McDonald's opens it's doors. Coincidence? Maybe. Yeah, maybe. But you have to admit that Godzilla is looking kinda thick these days.
This is the only Godzilla movie that I've never been able to sit through its entirety, and I've seen Son of Godzilla & Attack All Monsters three times.... 🤮
