Loupedeck CT has programable buttons with logos and used in Final Cut etc. What I would like is to see a complete programable deck as you have said. Hope the development team add many of your ideas. Great review!
I think you mean, You wish Elgato made an Android API that others could leverage - because that's the missing piece. Because then we could use our StreamDecks on Android, even beyond the YoloBox. But Elgato doesn't.
AFAIK< Engato does not make an Android APK. The YoloBox runs on Androud, so there's no way to use Elgato's hardware plugged directly into a YoloBox. Also, Yolo really tried to make it al in one - so needing to carry around an additional PC and create a local area network between devices to plug in an Elgato, into a laptop, to run Companion, to connect through a switch, to remotely press a button, on the YoloBox, is a whole lot of extra crap to go through. Plug the YoloDeck into the Box. Done. Especially if you're leveraging the built in bonding of the Box and there's no local area network at all.
hdmi 1, 2, etc. appear choppy in the preview. Are there any options in YoloBox to ensure smooth and real-time preview? Because if the video sources experience interruptions, we want to detect them promptly from the preview.
Preview framerate is lower because of everything else it's doing. Priority for framerate is given to: Program Window, Live Stream, Main Recording, ISO Recordings, REpleay Recordings.... and that's a lot of framrates to do well.
Excellent critique Sir! I hope the Yololiv team are listening carefully to your thoughts, you’ve made some excellent points. Do you know if this will work with my older YoloBox pro?
Please don't push to market then spend months updating, Straight out of the box, the ability to pre-programme with multiple pages embedded and saved into the device, also pre-set mirror Yolo device WYSIWYG, the abilty to then add or take away elements, fundamentally creating new GUI, that are then shareable across the community. Similar to JSON files.
The beta software, that I mentioned in thispreview many times, of course does not yet do what we might expect, but I think it's headed in the right direction.
Thanks for you vidéo. But It's a gadget that won't be very useful for streaming. We need programmable keys that we can move according to our work habits.
Great preview. I appreciate your honest feedback. I like that YoloLiv is great at listening to user suggestions.
Thank you. Agreed!
Do you have a YoloBox? How was the live streaming?
Thanks again Anthony you came up with some good concepts that I’m intrigued to see yolobox follow through on great job as always brother.
I hope so too.

Thanks. I agree there are many great tools out there, but they're not developing android API's for their control surfaces, so Yolo had to go it alone.
This is fantastic! I would definitely get one! The best new "feature" in 2024 so far!
It will certainly be useful to a lot of people.
Hi, have you bought it? How is your experience?
Audio on/off is very useful if you are doing a IRL livestream and you walk into an area that has copyright music. For me, that’s the best feature.
Good to know!
Good to know!
I wish they would have just made a plugin for the stream deck compatible like others do. 😢
totally agree! then i could use my XL stream deck for more options

But Elgato doesn't.
So they created this because streamdeck software and companion are not able to be loaded on to the ultra correct?

Double press the recording and streaming button would help avoid catastrophic mistakes.
Good idea.
Is this just for the Ultra? Or will it work with the Instream too?
Right now, Ultra - but he's said they're looking to bring it to all current models - Pro, Mini, Instream
Please make a baseball ball count on the scoreboard. Please mark the inning ball strikeout runner.
This would be a great recommendation for the YoloLiv Facebook group where the Yolo team interacts with users like you.

Frank has said that he hopes to bring it to the Pro and Mini

Let's hope Yolo is listening!
The software still need so much things to improve, It's still not meet what we expect it can do lol

WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE BUTTONS!! Everyone’s use will be different. I never use scoreboard.
Agreed! Or at least let us pick and choose - placement as well!
great video! fyi….your main camera is showing a mirror image of you and it is distracting.
Sorry about that, I do it so that what I point to the right is on the right of the screen - so I have to flip my image to have that work.
A button to select local videos and another to play, pause and stop.
I like it!
Nice
Thanks

There ws a point, or two, or three, that I pointed out that this is a preview, of a product that's not done, that's in beta.
