Thank you Ayo for this explanatory tutorial, you definitely always come through. I have a question pls,am wondering why you added 1.5" allowance at the waist of the half length then you added 1" at the down part,I hope I wouldn't run into an kind of shortage while making mine.thanks again
@@bibioseni5217 My pleasure 💯 Thanks for your feedback ✅ I added 1.5” allowance to the half length because of the “lining” (I used 0.5” to join the lining to the Ankara piece at the side), however, I added 1” allowance the down part because it doesn’t have lining. If you would be adding lining to yours , you would need the allowance to be equal, I.e, 1.5” for both half length & skirt piece. I do hope this explanation is clear.❤️
I love this tutorial, so relaxing to watch. Pls the six inches extention on the front is it a standard for all sizes? Here comes a new subscriber to d famz❤❤
Yay!!!!🥰 Thanks so much for your kind words🤩 Yes, 6” works for most sizes . In some instance where you want the wrap to cover each other fully, then the value you get when you divide your waist by 4 is what you would need, I.e, (waist ) 32/4 = 8 , therefore, extension is going to be 8”
Thanks.. now I get it... sewing my wrap dress after this tutorial ❤
