Very helpful, thank you! Had some mild ear pain a while ago and I think I damaged the middle part slightly, feeling back to normal now so time to get back in the water!

I personally don't use any solutions after diving. As I said, if I have a day off after 2-3 days of diving, then I never have ear pain :-)

Hello, yes i would like to share my experience, it happened to me this year, while I'm going down i was unable to equalize my right ear, i let water get in my hood in order to get into my ear, i equalized and it worked well, when i came up from the bottom, i felt my ear opened, i continued my dives normally, at night i was unable to hear good even sleep from pain, i felt like there is a cotton inside my ear, i went to the doc, he removed water from my ear, then he did a message to my ear drum, then tested my both nostrils the right one was somehow closed he gave me pills & sprayer, when using sprayer i felt better when inhaling through my nose, it's now 1 month and 20 days pain sometimes occur in the both ears but in the left rarely, maybe due to the cold weather, today i went for a dive i was able to dive & equalize normally, but pain still a lil bit in my right ear

Nice ..question how can I bring back clogged hearing

There are a few reasons, why you can feel clogged ears after diving
      1. wax gets stuck on an eardrum. Go to the clinic they will remove it in a couple of minutes
      2. if you were pushing your equalization too hard, then it might be middle ear barotrauma. In this case, just wait a few days before your next diving session. if symptoms get worse - go to the clinic, might need some inflammation medicine
Keep in mind, I am not a doctor, if your have any doubts, better to check with a medical professional :-)

I don't know if this is helpful to anyone, but there is an ear dryer for preventing swimmers ear. Maybe it could be used for divers too. However you could also accidentally over-dry your ear and it can cause cracking of the eardrum if it gets too dry.

      Good to know! Thank you.
Does it make sense to see the doctor first?

I equalize but still get intense pain if I turn my head so one of my ears faces the surface. It’s like the water rushes in and gets behind the ear drum. I have tried to fill the ears near the surface but the problem still persists. Any ideas why?

I would go to the doctor to check if the ear drum is ok

Hello again..This is very important! I use Tea tree oil before diving to prevent anything getting through in the ear canal and when finished 50/50 solution Hydrogen peroxide/water quick and clean :)
