The way I interpeted the soulless children part is that if ruby and aqua hadnt been reincarnated as those children Ai wouldve given birth to stillborn twins.

I read the manga right after I finished the anime and stopped right after Aqua visited the Mom cause that's how many chapters were out. I definitely need to catch up with the newer stuff.
@@Timmycoo nah it is fair to assume, that the killer did hide to body. he even appeared next to goru in his very last moment. when he was thinking straight enough to make it down here, he will at least hide him somewhere. the alternative would be, that this goddess has a very wicked sense of humor because by hiding the body, she doomed Ai to die because else the body would have been found and this could be a chance for the stalker to be found as well.
@@calronkeltaran493 Yeah I get what you're saying but the leadup to finding the body with the crows, the mentioning of the shrines etc. just seems too much for it to be the killer hiding the body. But I always read too much into things lol. I am curious about the girl goddess and her incentives.
Yeah, Takachiho’s about a thousand kilometers from Tokyo. Google Maps says it’s a 1h40m flight from Tokyo to Kumamoto, the nearest major city, plus another hour and a half of driving. Japan is surprisingly big!
As I was digesting this episode, after Ruby's star in her eye shatters, I noticed the ending song had a different animation. That was chilling as hell. It's like the curtain has been lifted at last, and as we all feared, Ruby's dream was forced to clash against a cruel as hell reality. It feels like, for most of their life, Aqua had managed to protect her from the wicked factors that lead to Ai being murdered. But not anymore.
i rewatched it the only diffrence i noticed was in the lastest episode when the crow picks up the keychain they show its the Ai keychain and its not dripping with blood. where as in previous episodes it cuts before it shows what the keychain is but still interesting
@@nakuvamp yes. I rewatched them now too. I also cant see different animations or anything. But you have the few more seconds at the end with the keychain. Thats cool. Now I can finally understand the ending
It's crazy and sad to think how deep Aqua's trauma goes, now that we have the full picture. Gorou lived at the "expense" of his mother's life, which he blamed himself for, he became obstetrician, just to please his grandmother and, even when he connected with a patient, he could do nothing but to watch her die. He tried to find meaning in following a career he didn't by helping his favorite idol give birth to her children, but he died before he could accomplished that and left her to be killer on the loose and finally, he got reincarnated as her child, just to watch her die in front of him, once again losing a mother, without being able to do anything to help. One of those things alone is enough to create trauma in a person. Add them all togheter and you get the broken Aqua we have.
Ofc the character called "Goro(u) Amamiya" would represent nothing but tragedy. For Aqua he represents his regrets and hate towards family, for Ruby he was her beacon of hope back then and now he is what makes it all worse.
Yeah, if only they never made this trip to the city where the incident happened, they would still be alright. Aqua would move on from the past now that he believes his father is dead and has no reason for revenge anymore and ruby would still be happy, jolly and innocent
@@xavierperes I assume you have been reading the manga, but anyways spoiler alert: If things went in that direction, Ruby would eventually have been unsubscribed, probably by miss lunatic at the command of smirksalot.
I just finished reading JJK as the Manga ended and now this. I am not emotionally ready for the final episode. My friend and I literally made a pact to read it because we just can't wait for season 3. Oshi No Ko IMO is Top 5 of the 2020's.
The white hair girl saying that Ai gave birth to soulless babies probably meant that the twins might have died right before delivery or during delivery. If I remember correctly (the doctor's soul) Aqua reincarnated right after the baby was delivered. So it implies that The doctor's soul was literally directed to possesed the dead baby by some god which is the same case with Ruby. It's implied that this was kinda a second chance for both the doctor & Sarina who haven't experienced having a mother was. And also a second chance for Ai who doesn't have a family to become a mother and have a family of her own. Ai is a teenager and with his Idol build. I'm pretty sure having to deliver twins naturally will have some complications that's probably the reason why the original twins might have already died before the delivery or during the delivery giving the gods a leeway to give Ai, the doctor & sarina second chances at life.
Also I always thought Ruby would pursue acting specially after her reaction on Tokyo blade. And there's that bit she had with Aqua when they were confronting Miyako in s1.. After that Aqua asked if Ruby had experience in her past life.
Are we getting Ruby's "revenge arc" and she doesn't know it yet, but a great detective is right by her side. I love how Akane is basically there with all the pieces to Ruby & Aqua's internal mysteries.
I always thought Ruby would pursue acting specially after she watched the Tokyo blade. And there's that bit she had with Aqua when they were confronting Miyako in s1.. After that Aqua asked if Ruby had experience in her past life.
This when the story starts to pick up. I won't spoil anything but as a manga reader... get ready for the finale. I can't wait to see everyone's reaction
The distance from Tokyo to Miyazaki is around 907 kilometres by air, so it takes around 1.5-2 Hours to get there. Also, the last scene of this episode left me a bit baffled. As I saw in Episode 1, Gorou died under the cliff. But, how was his body found inside a shrine, which was quite far from the cliff? I think someone would've moved his body into that cave and then erected the shrine before it.
11:30 I just realized Akane _would_ know best, because of what she got put through last season. And she isn't even an idol, too, imagine how much worse it would be if Kana were "caught".
Season finale won't be until October 6th. They are pushing it back since Rezero season 3 will be a 90 min episode premiere. It went over to Oshi No Ko's spot so it's being pushed back 4 days.
Can we talk about the TIMING and BUILDUP to the reveal? Because the moments BEFORE the body discovery are so essential to making this moment work. Ruby's innocent monologue is… scary. In her imagination, the doctor hasn't aged a day, but the age gap was huge while they were alive and it should be insurmountable by now. Sarina got reincarnated, meaning she got YOUNGER while the doctor would've grown OLDER. By this point, he should be well over 40, possibly nearing his 50s. This is the point where Ruby's idealism and romanticism, usually portrayed as inspirational or funny, are revealed to be very much a character flaw. Aqua was clearly obsessed and blinded by his revenge quest, and the anime made it very clear, but all the while Ruby was no different. She's downright delusional in her idealism. And right when this fact is put front and center, when she's rambling about an impossible perfect fantasy she envisioned for herself - THAT'S when the reality hits her like a truck. Not the reality that the doctor's way too old, not the reality that he has his own life with potential wife and children by now, not the reality that an idol like her pretty much can't marry anyway - all of that should've been obvious to her, but she ignored it, likely thinking "love" and "destiny" are beyond all obstacles like that. But now she's struck with the one thing she can't overcome with any amount of willpower, any amount of dedication, any amount of love. He's dead. Just like Aqua, Ruby now loses her own reason to live - and unlike in Aqua's case, the change is not for the better.
i just wanna say thank you for reacting to this anime and trying to think through the characters' personalities and actions beyond the surface of what they showed on the screen. most of the ppl out there started to hate ruby at this point because she "ruined the story by inserting some incest and age gap shit" but truth be told she was just a kid that doesn't know anything. imagine spending the rest of your life on a hospital bed and being reincarnated to a literal idol/celebrity, of course she's gonna go wild with her new life and doesn't think things as much as other people. from this point onwards, Aka will cook more and more controversial stuff so i really hope anime onlies can try to accept some dark turn for this story. some ppl will say he's a bad author next season (that already happened for the manga though).
