I don't know what I enjoyed most ...the colours "popping" on Lionel's drive and the difference its going to make to him, or the boys faces when you did your trick with the slime ...or Arthur's face when he got splattered. (I think the latter, bless him) That was priceless. That has got to be my favourite (so far) video. Well done and thanks 👍

Oh Ben and your lovely wife (sorry I couldn’t remember her name! It just popped in, it’s Sam!), the look on Arthur’s face when Daddy stirred the slime and dropped it! Priceless! I am so grateful that you share these precious boys with us. It brings back happy memories of when my son was younger. ~ Lionel is wonderful. I understand that sometimes people don’t want to be on video and I respect that. I do like seeing the reactions though like this nice chap. I bet he has some experiences that would be interesting. I would always talk to elders whenever I took the bus, pre-pandemic times. One day this handsome elderly man told me about his time working at the penitentiary after the First World War. He was a rookie and sat down one coffee break with a gentleman he didn’t know and enjoyed some polite conversation. Afterwards his boss or a co-worker told him he’d just had coffee with the Hangman who was there to do a job. (I believe in Canada they were called Mr Ellis? I’m not sure if it was the family name or a pseudonym. Apparently the jobs were given to a son or a relative from the same family.) I love hearing about people’s lives. Have a great weekend! 🍁

I'm A 67 year old grandma from way down south in Louisiana, USA, and I still love power washing my driveway! It's so rewarding. Watching you, I am reminded of myself. I always clean in small sections, patterns or any way that hits my fancy. If I were younger, I would love to do what you do. You are truly a Blessing!

You both rock! Such a blessing to those you work with. I used to do things like that for both my old and not so old neighbors. And it's been paid back to me this year when I wasn't able to keep my yard mowed consistenly because of issues with arthritis flateups. One of those people whom I blessed with snow plowing returned the favor with both a mowing and leaf cleanup. The world we be a better place if we all just did what we could to help others. Special place in heaven for you both. And when the boys get older, you can bring them along to help you and teach them great life lessons. Not to mention how beautiful it looks. You should ask to put up a small yard sign advertising your work. In the U.S., that's the normal thing. New roofs, siding, windows, painting, anything exterior, small yard signs get put up throughout the job and for about a month after it's finished. Lovely jubbly work for sure! And your wife made the coolest play table! She could do that as a side job for families. I bet a lot of moms would love this but don't have the time or energy to do this.

Thank you for helping out Lionel. Senior citizens are often forgotten. I see a lot of people doing makeovers on totally empty or abandoned properties. I don't understand why. Yes, it makes the neighbor hood look a bit better but there is always someone who LIVES in a house who needs the help more. I don't watch those "blessings" if the property is vacant.
Lionel seemed like a very nice guy. I like the fact you lifted up his plants and sprayed under them on that tiny wall. You really picked out the perfect nominee to make his stones shine. Bless you and your entire family. I love watching this channel. It was interesting to note when that guy said how slippery that black greasy dirt was on those stones. There are benefits besides it looking new again. You don't slip, you don't carry any mold into your house from them, etc. A very satisfying video, thanks.

Teamwork,with you and your friend Ross, nice. The starting picture looks like we might have India Sandstone? We get to find out. Can see your recognition of gardening "to do's" is increasing. You dove right in on weed overgrowth and leaves in beds. The GRIME LINE was fun. Can see the dreaded Black Spot starting. What a great change on the low front wall, in appearance and color, with your scraping of moss and wash. (What does the city do about all the white lichen on the sidewalk? There is some visible next door as well.) You invented some splash barriers. Good thought. The biocide treatment on the sandstone really helped. What a treat to see how shiny and better the area looks on completion. Thanks for pointing out the fossil area in some sandstone. Best wishes to Lionel. That was a fascinating play table your wife invented for the boys.
