Right, we didn’t have stitch markers back in the day, not that I remember anyway, when I started knitting almost 60 years ago.
Loved kite flying on Block Island. Truly a happy moment. Your white sweater is beyond beautiful. Congrats. The red one is going to be a winner too. best from NY NY
Good morning and thank you! Hope you’re enjoying this fall weather, 60 degrees here this am. Happy knitting 🧶 ❤
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Block Island lifestyle and knitting. Always such a treat…lovely to wake up to a new episode. I am watching whilst I finish my last winter knit for 2024 .. moving into warmer weather here in the southern hemisphere.

All the sweaters and the cardigan are beautiful. Such a lovely walking trail. Thanks for sharing. You have a wonderful fall as well. (Mia, in AZ)
Good morning Mia and thank you. Are you starting to get cooler temperatures? Happy September 🍁🍂
@@theislandlamb Good morning Diane. Yes! I just went for a walk (hills around) and the weather was perfect. 65 F and no wind. Lovely.
What a lovely surprise to see you here this evening (Saturday evening in Cumbria. U.K) Diane. Your jumpers are stunning. You look ultra glam in them - well done. Love hearing and seeing what you have been up to. I have just changed my front door wreath to the autumn one and feel the season is defiantly changing. Have a good weekend and “see” you soon.🧶🧶
Good morning Jill and thank you! I image you’re experiencing some fall weather. Yes the changing of the wreath on the door is a sure sign! I’m looking forward to a stroll in a pumpkin patch soon. Happy September and as always happy knitting 🧶 ❤🍁🍂
Je suis ravie de voir vos ravissants ouvrages tricotés et de découvrir votre ile
Je vous regarde depuis la France
Merci
Hello Christine, delighted to hear from you and to receive your lovely comments! I’m dreaming of a trip to France, maybe next year. Where are you? Happy knitting 🧶 ❤
Love your works & yarn choices. The blue looks lovely without buttons
Good morning Beverly, yes I’m definitely leaning that way, no buttons. Happy September 🍁🍂
I remember the tall ships coming to RI in 1976! We went to Newport to see them (and I got stuck in a porto-potty!). Thanks for reminding me about Tiverton-will definitely visit it on my trip in November. I remember going to the chicken farm out there for eggs with my mom. Did you use Cascade 220 for your Ingrid?I have a similar pattern the Salty Days Sweater and need to find a good yarn. Thanks again for another lovely video!
1976, the bicentennial and the tall ships in Newport, I remember it well! I was taking Spanish and had a chance to speak it with the crew from the Juan de el Cano from Spain! We must get together when you’re in RI. The shops in Tiverton should be open as that is a year round community. Happy September 🍁
Why mess up a great thing….no buttons….it will only distract a gorgeous sweater
Good morning, yes I’m thinking the same thing. Thanks for your input and happy knitting 🧶 ❤
@@theislandlamb I am stopping at Webs next week and getting the yarn for it in the Westfield ….yet another project!
ooh, have a ball!!!!
I believe I used Valley yarns mohair silk and Valley Yarns Northfield held together.
@@theislandlamb yes but I like the make up of Westfield and color and same weight
