If you shoot the right pellets ( not crappy inaccurate BB's ) and make some amazing shots using iron sights like I do with all of my pumper including the 2100 you won't have a boring video 😉 But then I've improved the trigger on mine and mounted a Williams 5d-Ag peep sight. I would like some wood furniture on mine, but would also want a metal ed cap \ barrel band or it wouldn't seem worth it. Not gonna give it some nice wood and still have a sizeable major component made of plastic.
I just finished building a wooden stock and forearm for my 2100, and it was a major ordeal as far as time consuming. But it came out pretty nice. Then, I took the plastic end cap+barrel band to a shop that does castings. They made a cast of the plastic parts, then cast it in aluminum. After that it was anodized black. Looks great and of course is much stronger than the original plastic parts. I want to get a Williams peep sight like you have, that will be next. Oh yeah, and you're right, shooting BB's is a waste of time.
@@trevorjameson3213 You can get some nice wood furniture from a man named E Gillman for around $30 +/- for the unfinished roughed out stock and forearm which would save a lot of time, but then the barrel band still needs to be replaced with metal.
@@TylerSnyder305 Nice, thanks for the info! I have two of the 2100's and a very old 766, both still with plastic stocks. I only made one stock and forearm, and man it was time consuming, at least 150 total hours of work. I will check out that name and see if I can find him somewhere. thanks.
Nice work 👍🏻
Gotta say, that's awesome ! Do you make these stocks to sell ?
