Andrea Runs the World Day 29: Thunderstorms, Kind Strangers, and 39 Miles to La Paz

Day 29 of my run around the world was one for the books! I woke up to rolling thunder, flashing lightning, and pouring rain, making it one of those mornings where getting up felt impossible. But by 6 a.m., I was back on Ruta 7, embracing the cool air and taking on the challenge of 39 miles to La Paz.
The day brought unexpected joys:
A coffee break with Hector and his family at a roadside stand.
A surprise street concert from three talented brothers traveling to music competitions.
Ice-cold water from a kind stranger when the heat became relentless.
From downhill stretches to grueling uphill climbs, from mosquito swarms to cool breezes, this day was full of highs and lows. Watch as I push through the challenges, meet incredible people, and finally arrive in the vibrant city of La Paz.
