ABOUT PRELUDE AND FUGUE
Prelude and Fugue is a tribute to the great German composer J. S. Bach. It’s a piece for guitar and string orchestra. The Prelude is represented by a milonga in which the tonality of e minor and e-flat minor collide in a very melancholy and sometimes dramatic melody that contrasts with the style of J. S. Bach. The Fugue is a tango written in a very strict counterpoint with modern rhythms and harmonies. The Fugue’s themes are the same as the ones in the Prelude, but in a continuous reworking and transformation.
