$160'000+ for 2 weeks a year and astronomical fuel consumption, depreciation, insurance, maintenance, etc. the rest of the time? It's like the arms race. He with the biggest truck wins.
60000USD = 94000AUD at the current rate so it is probably more like 60000AUD for the conversion, the conversion has them totally dismantling the vehicle and rebuilding it. th-cam.com/video/QAbL3hqa44o/w-d-xo.html
Picking up a 23 Patrol Warrior...100k drive away. Crazy pricing for more expensive purchases. Luxury car tax, then pay on top.The top rate of stamp duty on the whole purchase. 🤑 Rort, tax on tax....
Walkinshaw have done a truly awful job at converting this. The infotainment and climate control mistakes are unacceptable for a car so effing expensive. Either that, or toyota just dont care enough and arent supporting walkinshaw like they should.
Nearly ticks all the boxes, you would think they could easily change over the blinkers and wiper switches, from another right hand drive Toyota, info screen, with home one the left, would be annoying too, fuel economy, service costs and no road side assist, which you get on a cheap O Chinese vehicle, yes it a Toyota, but not as polished as the Toyotas I have owned and driver over many years, hopefully over time, they just put that little more effort into the finished product, and add some additional owner satisfaction/peace of mind for the high price point.
Typical Toyota. They have developed a typical take it or leave it attitude of late hoping that people will just blindly keep buying their products regardless of the price and lack of equipment. This thing is probably a very good unit but not at that price especially when the mirrors are not right, the controls are on the wrong side of the steering column and other controls in the cab are difficult to reach.
It is uneccessiraly large. Definitely not for our NZ market. But if I was gonna behave in a manner that demonstrates over compensation type behaviors, I'd buy the big Silverado
It's Absolutely perfect for me, except for one small problem, I can't afford it

how does converting them to a right-hand drive cost nearly AU$100,000.00?
these sell for mid $50's to $60's in the US

IIHS safety rating is good enough for us. ANCAP is pretty useless.
Not really manufactured for us with controls being set for the original market as in the USA.
The CUB community will love this.
Ah damn, it won't fit in my garage.
Did that one come with the metal shavings in the motor too?
Yes he truck that keeps on giving.

This is going to sell next to nothing here. Overpriced pos with known issues in that v6
what an antiquated monstrosity, it would be an utter embarrassment to be seen in one.
