here's what I've learned over the past half a year if wheelies, the immediate things u need to do are, turn off regen, take ur brake sensors out, put ur bike on a stand so that your front wheel is floating, spin the front wheel with ur hand if the wheel doesn't come to a stop and then start slowly spinning the OPPOSITE way, your brake pads are rubbing the rotors, this causes your front wheel to stop spinning faster when in a wheelie wich is terrible for your side to side balance, the faster that front wheel is spinning the better side to side balance you'll have as the front wheel acts as a gyroscope when in a wheelie, so make sure that front brake rotor is perfectly aligned as good as you can get it, idk why ur on a thumb throttle if you need to be so be it, but if not please get back on a twist throttle, now with other important things, I'd practice on concrete over grass just because with grass it's very uneven and the traction is very unpredictable, on concrete you'll have very consistent traction and will feel alot smoother then grass, ya the fall will hurt more but I never fell once when I was practicing wheelies, kinda a higher risk higher reward type thing, always make sure your pulling BACK on the bars and not up aswell as making sure your giving an even pull on the bars don't pull harder with 1 hand this will cause u to lean, always look forward at what's ahead of you rather then looking at your handle bars or the bike, be gentle on your throttle and your brake, don't make jerky movements, make sure your running a good PSI, don't run anything over 25 anything over that is just WAY to high, personally I need my rear tire to be EXACTLY 15 PSI or my wheelies feel wonky, yes I will literally drive 6 miles to a wawa to pump my tire up 1 PSI because that's how much it affects me, be careful running low PSI tho I've torn my valve stem 3 times but now I have a rim lock, also upgrades that will help your wheelies include: sprocket/chain, handle bars, H30C brake pads, tires, tires are very important if you want more of a offroad style tire get a shink 241, if you ride primarily street get a shinko 777, but do NOT put a 777 on the front either put a 241 on the front or keep it stock, also emotoworx stunt peg. side notes: wearing a belt and tightening it so that it's impossible to take ur pants off with it on has helped me alot, when ur leaned that far back ur butt tends to slide in ur pants wich can cause balance inconsistencies and the feeling that your about to fall, also playing music helps me lock in better, hope this helped, I enjoyed this video well put together.

Yo thanks for this these are alot of great tips like the front wheel spinning i never thought of that.
I do wheelies in my jeans now because in the first clip/day 1 i was wearing sweat pants and yeah i kept feeling like i was gonna slide off.
And im definitely gonna start doing wheelies
on concrete because i definitely felt inconsistent grip alot in the grass and it was a lil annoying
so i just need to get over the fear of falling which has never happened anyway.
Oh and the thumb throttle lol im not the biggest fan of twist throttles, im always feeling like im going to wisky throttle but im still getting progress with it like in this vid and even more as i get out and practice more. Part 2 coimg soon!

I have a talaria and all you need to do is just do it bro, just gas it up high and brake, continue that alot over and over forget about distance.
    KEEP YOUR LEGS ON
( you keep doing that then when you put both legs on you will take your legs off again out of fear )
You dont need one leg off, get comfortable just lifting up and brake ( like up high ) after awhile you will lose the fear of going up there and wheelies will be so easier

No hate but after reading this comment i feel like you've only seen day 1.
I pretty much fixed all of that after day 2 off cam
(there is 7 days of progress in this video)
so the just do it and keeping the legs on isn't really an issue.
but skipping past this video im pretty much at a point where im just finding the right throttle play and balance point (PART 2 COMING SOON)
But i do appreciate the tips though because at the time that is what i needed to do is just do it and keep my damn feet on the pegs lol

Be less snappy with the throttle, Quick hand full to pop up then just ease off slightly and be smooth, little inputs.. cover back brake. Thumb throttle make make it harder.
