AGI already is good enough to replicate completely the para-human mannerisms and personality of a Zuckerberg or Musk. For all we know we've been watching generated videos of them for years.
Used to be CEOs of cutting edge companies were clearly human...now we got guys like these 2 who are like robots or aliens trying to seem human. They've gone so far as to challenge each other to childish schoolyard fights.
Or maybe Mark is the robot and Elon is the alien.
Because Mark it's trying to get humanity imprisoned in a computer reality while Elon is trying to get us out of this solar system.

We want AGI to be safe. No matter who comes out with it. OpenAI? Meta? Microsoft or even Google? Doesn't matter. All it matters should be Safe for users

most of the safety proposition is power imbalance. So democratizing the technology IS a safety measure. Not the only one that needs to be considered, but the one with the most immediate consequences.
