@A P A package of white sauce itself has 36 grams of fat (it says so on the package) and people usually use anywhere from 1 - 2 for a full platter. the meat is much more fattening...I would say a whole plate with white sauce has over 100 grams of fat. People are just brainwashed thinking something like McDonalds is the devil when a standard burger has 12 grams of fat

I had a similar experience. I first visited New York in 2005. Stayed at the Times Square Hilton. Just outside the hotel was a foodcart with a long line of people. Did not know what they were selling. Turns out, it was Halal-prepared lamb on a bed of rice and salad. I ordered one, since some classmates of mine suggested that it was delicious. The vendor asked if I wanted white, red, or both sauces. Didn't know the difference. So, I said that I will take both. Took a spoonful of the food. It was very tasty with the cool, refreshing yoghurt sauce. Then the red sauce hit my taste buds. It was freaking HOT!! Did not have a drink to wash down the spiciness. I just reluctantly swallowed the food down my throat. Would do that again if I had to! That spicy red sauce balanced with the cool white was terrific! On a very cold evening in New York, it is the best stuff to have!

But I see possibilities in the middle eastern food market, they're still growing.
