I am an owner of an original Urei 1620 with a custom Alpha Recording cross fader. Just want to say I like the combination of the large VU meters with the LEDs. Also the combination of a cross fader with the knobs. Most companies don't offer all those options on one mixer. If I was in the market for a new mixer I would consider the NEA. They all sound pretty similar on TH-cam.

To have a positive discussion, we think you should learn firstly how to name Behringer, then informate yourself how Ulisse is made (nothing is a custom element on the market place), and if you prefers other brands is ok, but keep for yourself fake informations.

The ulisse sounded great in the summing and good separation, nice crispy highs.
Although not as agressive in those attacks the urei sounded the Best out of all.
The summing also sounded better on the ulisse cause you where tighter in the mix between both tracks where as with the urei you where off kept clashing.
Also on the ulisse the separation and summing sounded a bit better cause you bought in 2nd track on a lower volume and kept the 1st one on a higher volume and did not apply the same techine as you did with the other 2 mixers as you did with the ulisse. On the ulises you kept the 1st track at same leve and Even one line higher that what you did with the others and also while bringing in the 2nd track you did not gradualy add on one while subtraction on the other channel as you did on the other 2.
Not a fair comparison for the urei Even at that it still sounded warmer, round, agile in the attack and the one that is and still remain 2nd best losing only to the original
BOZAK but Even the bozak has its strength on records and funky disco stuff. The original urei 1620 and then the 1620 Le is the bomb.

interesting how the congas shine through in the Ulisse. Very interesting in terms of sound. Alpha is too clear in the sound for me, you can hear the 2 track too early and too clearly in the mix. I have the 1620 and the 1620Le myself, I sold the ARS 4100 somewhere else. Unfortunately, the design of the Ulisse is not mine at all, too bad.🍻

NEA definitely sounds excellent but I can't live with the looks. Looks like a modified Vestax PMC. People in the market for these mixers are looking for something beautiful.

You delete my comment because I think the (Nea mixer) is ugly, worth 3,000 euros and has the same threaded power connector as the beringuer DX 1000 for 200 euros.
please, be inspired by the mastersound mixers .
