Everybody putting it down, it was free to watch or not watch. Obviously they were not working with a 50 million dollar budget, but personally I think it was decent. You got to break into the business some way, good shot!

Although the film is indie it has a lot of redeeming qualities. I certainly appreciate all the time spent editing, locations were eerie in the marshy areas. Script has good flow and for a low budget you were able to pull off hospital and police station scenes and at the final credits THEME Song... awesome.

true enough as long as it tells a story who cares about bad acting or predictability people just need to watch and enjoy but she does bring up a good point because if the same people complaining about these low budget films will be pissed off that people are judging there movies so until they attempt to make a movie themselves shouldn't have anything to say
yeah and i always wonder why they sit here bitching when they could just move on. no one is forcing them to watch it. are their lives really so pathetic that they have nothing better to do than insult someone and what they do? sad little kids that need to go clean their rooms and do some homework.

This is a good film for a independent film. The actors were speaking a little too fast at some times though, good camera work, good scene cuts, decent acting for unknown actors, the blood looked really fake but i understand that since this was on a tight budget. Solid film.

I can't understand why everyone was so negative about the actors! I thought that they did really well.
Plus, unlike so many other low budget films, the dialogue was well delivered instead of stiff and stilted like so many new actors who deliver their lines as if, they were reading them, as they went along! The young actors acted very naturally. Sure beats a Cruise movie with all its extras. He is so overrated!
I am enjoying this film and am looking forward to the second one. Audio and video were superior to so many movies here on YT! For a budget of around $100, this bodes well for all your future endeavours.

Not a horrible movie. I keep seeing people comment that the acting is terrible, the acting itself is fine. The biggest issue is the dialogue needs to flow more naturally.

SoulBaron Charlie Graves was kind of born out of the modern wave of anti-bully campaigns. Although not a typical example of the effects of bullying- it can't be argued any other way than the fact that Charlie Graves, as he appears in the film- IS in fact the product of bullying at its core.

everyone here is entitled to their opinion. just because they aren't out making horror movies doesn't men that they aren't avid fans and can properly critique what does and doesn't make a good horror movie. I don't have to be a chef to say that the meatloaf sucks, and the same applies here. Having said that, I enjoyed the movie. As a budding horror screenwriter, I appreciate these little low budget gems. Sure the acting sucks and the plot is predictable, but the movie still accomplishes it's goal, which is ultimately to entertain.

The house was lived in up until the siblings' return, hence why there were still fish swimming around a clean fish tank in the background.
This movie had some good ideas and concepts, I can tell that the actors tried really hard to put through there emotions and was pretty good for something filmed by an small group of people.

Kudos to you. I also make films. The sound is really good for a low-budget movie, also the cinematography is very good for a low-budget; storyline seems decent (i'm not a horror fan so I didn't watch the whole thing). Also editing is great
Yeah the acting is a bit dodgy. But it's very impressive that you made your own feature like this. Don't give up and ignore all the haters, chances are high that they wouldn't be able to do something on this level or even close to it! They are comparing this to multi-million dollar horror films that are made by teams of people who went to Ivy League colleges... If you made your own car and it actually drove, would haters say your car sucks because they compare it to a Mercedes Benz? No, they'd say wow you made your own car! wow!

+David McCrea I agree with everything you say. My chief complaint is rather petty. The blood looks brown. Whenever it's on screen I kept thinking of staining furniture. Good work aside from that, which seems like it may have been an issue with the light (RL vs Film Reproduction).

Just ran across this tonight !! I have to say this is not Hollywood BUT This is best film I have seen. People needs to realize you don't always got to run to big MEGA Company to make your Dreams Come True. This is Awesome work and Amazing Cast. Awesome Job.

/The Positives/
• The killers original Outfit is alright
• The detective was probably the only decent actor
• The theme song at the beginning is good (The drums being in it doesn't sound good though)
/The Negatives/
• All the kills are offscreen & they have a weird splatter sound effect
• When the old lady is given the machete he says I would feel "bad" if you had this instead of "better"
• The acting doesn't seem natural at all & some of the dialogue is strange
• What's the point of having the girl look at a family picture (that is clearly photoshopped lol)
• All 3 of the first kills are identical except in the 3rd one, where blood splatters on the girls hand
• The kids will randomly stare during multiple moments
• The backstory is kinda silly
• The old lady kill (which was like 2 seconds) was cool but how would her head explode from a bat hit
• Tripping cliche
• The scene with the guy trying to light the blunt was way drawn out, he tried to light it like 5 or 6 times
/The IDKs/
• What was with the weird visuals the detective was seeing
• Its never explained where was the boy the entire time at the end
Also you shouldn't make a sequel to this you should remake of this with a better plot, better actors, on screen kills, practical effects, a good soundtrack, have the bat have nails in it or something unique and maybe some other stuff. And fundraise money for it on a website and possibly use some money earned from the haunted house thing you do. I also live in Florida by the way

The plot was more than decent for a production cost of a $100.00. There's no denying the movie did have an element of suspense. Which carried the amateur performance of the characters. I like the directors way of telling the story. If you can look past the production value and poor acting. The movie wasn't that bad.
