She was born in Iran. Her parents are Iranian. She sings in Persian too. She collaborates with Persian artists sometimes. She also wrote a song for the Green Movement of Iran and freedom of its people when her help indeed was needed. It's her background (Swedish as well Iranian) that has made her what she is today and she is very proud of it. So am I! (taa kone hasoodan besoozad).
