We live in an age where attention spans have shrunk. In the last two decades, the average human's attention span decreased from 12 to 8.25 seconds. And Gen Z's 8 seconds! Gen Z has grown up in an era of instant gratification, shaping their expectations for rapid, impactful interactions. We are about to witness the Olympics, and an athlete Will only reach their peak after he is focused on preparation. We need to spend time studying God's word if we wish to achieve peak performance. That means daily Bible study for each of us, being part of a study group and maybe even taking notes during sermons.
