As expensive as urgent care can be in the USA,.... I'd trust them more than Reddit 😅. Having a unilateral (one sided) hearing loss will do wild things to your speech recognition though 😂
As I said to Bettel, using q-tips beyond the outer ear just really happens. Worse for me bc I have psoriasis, and it's always impacted, hence I stopped doing it. ENT doc just put something in my ear to make the earwax harden, then flushed it away with a water jet. It was an amazing feeling afterwards. Hope Bettel got the same treatment.
funny coincidence, I actually had a q-tip piece stuck in my ear literally the day before Bettel tweeted about it lol (I fortunately manage to fish it out myself...don't ask)
Same thing happened to me. The urgent care just irrigated my ear with a spray bottle with a tube on it. I’m still looking for that attachment because of how often I lose my hearing
my doctor tells me i frequently have really bruised inner ears but the bruises itch so i scratch it and make more bruises. dont put stuff in your ear or you will end up like me 🥲

the olive oil thing only works in small quantities and thats specifically only for earwax if i recall
