So it turns out my mom played this in band. But it also turns out that last year the marching band at my school combined this with a dark sounding version of somewhere over the rainbow for their marching show. What a coincidence.
Edition Eulenburg, orchestra miniature score, page119, show Trumpet in C, playing G > D. Erik W.G Leidzén may have referenced this edition when he did his transcription.
It’s so sad that these guys barely do classical. The only good classical recordings are on this guys channel and that’s it. Otherwise they’re just doing Japanese pop songs or other pop songs probably from the US.
I made much better arrangement. To be fair.... It depends on instruments you can use in the score. This sounds too woody. The performance is excellent. Echo in record is horrible.
That is amazing! When multiple arrangements are available, conductors can choose what best suits their orchestra. We look forward to viewing your score and listening to a recording of your arrangement!
