So it turns out my mom played this in band. But it also turns out that last year the marching band at my school combined this with a dark sounding version of somewhere over the rainbow for their marching show. What a coincidence.
Edition Eulenburg, orchestra miniature score, page119, show Trumpet in C, playing G > D. Erik W.G Leidzén may have referenced this edition when he did his transcription.
It’s so sad that these guys barely do classical. The only good classical recordings are on this guys channel and that’s it. Otherwise they’re just doing Japanese pop songs or other pop songs probably from the US.
I made much better arrangement. To be fair.... It depends on instruments you can use in the score. This sounds too woody. The performance is excellent. Echo in record is horrible.
That is amazing! When multiple arrangements are available, conductors can choose what best suits their orchestra. We look forward to viewing your score and listening to a recording of your arrangement!
@@marckoninkx3721 Hi Marc. I stopped finished working on it long time. Only it needs about 3 or four pages to be finished. Send me mail to f.jandus@gmail.com if you'd like to see the score :)
@@marckoninkx3721 Hi Mr. Koninkx, first of all, I love this arrangement. Secondly, do you know where I can find other available recordings of the other works you have transcribed, particularly the finale to Tchaikovsky 4 that you've written?
Prachtige muziek, wat een compositie zou de nieuwe wereld ook zo mooi zijn.
This wonderful version is an absolute eargasm.
Dvorak symphony No.9 arranged into wind orchestra version ? cool !!
No. Old arrangement is Leidzen. This one is by Konikx. The other movements are available on TH-cam as well.
A very dramatic intro and probably one of the best by Dvořák.
Orchestra teacher said the beginning of the price was the inspiration for the jaws theme.
Just only the first part of jaws, If I am correcting your orchestra teacher.
Great!
