DB jokes will never stop being funny to me. I've visited Germany once in my life back in 2011 - my girlfriend at the time was meeting me at the Munich airport and she was coming in by train from another city. First thing that happens when I step out of the arrival zone, I find out that her train broke down and got delayed, and I have to wait for her an extra two hours. Never change, DB 😆
Sadly where I live being less than 10 minutes late is on time. I once waited for a bus that was either 9 minutes late or 6 minutes early before I got there. Weirdly it seems that most of the other buses are on time in my area. It's just that one. Except that one time that the once every 30 minutes bus just didn't show up. Luckily an express bus was able to take me somewhere close to my place. Both google maps and the transit website have their own schedules, and neither of them are correct. (I live in a medium American city that has the bare minimum standard of decent transit because a big event 20 years ago forced us to get a good transit system.)
I got off airplane in FRA and the luggage was 45 minutes late getting off the aircraft. Finally it came to the conveyor and a rushed to get to my train at the fernbahnhof.... I was exactly on time for the train... ran onto it, sat down and looked up to realize it was the wrong train number. Got off the train and 10 minutes later the CORRECT train came. So if everyone is late, then no one is late. It was a frustrating day... that 10m delay made me miss a connection in mannheim and that caused me to take a regional train south... a 2 hour trip turned into 8 hours of stress.
