Retrobright typically doesn’t do well with colored plastic. I have tested it on a Grape Gameboy Color that had turned almost black. It helped a little bit, but left white splotches and streaks. You’d be better off painting it or leaving it the way it is.
@@DragonProtector you guessed my upcoming videos! I already have one that I led and picoboot modded, so I thought I would share how to do it in some videos.
very good! 👏👏
Will the retro bright work with the indigo as well. Mine is a brownish indigo now and I want to clean it

@Other Retro dang what a shame. Would hydrogen peroxide + UV lighting work a little?
@@gabrielmorrison9477 I first tested it with hydrogen peroxide and only saw minimal change and it still left a white haze on the plastic.
Can you send the link of the polisher you have?
I bought it from a home center store in Japan. It’s just plastic polish with an abrasive pad and then I use a microfiber cloth to wipe it clean.
How do you clean the lens? Wipe it with alcohol?
Yes, very gently with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab.
Gamecube my favorite
Mine too!
@@otherretro nice! Be sure to mod it!

@@otherretro you should see mine! I soldered leds. I gpt pluto hdmi II mod and gcloader. Waiting on the Bluetooth mod to ship in January i ordered.
@@DragonProtector That sounds like a cool setup. The hdmi mod looks like an interesting future mod for me. For now I’ll enjoy my LEDs and Picoboot.
