I have no idea why this song strikes a cord in me. Magical destroyers has such a beautiful soundtrack and after finishing it, it all just feels like a fever dream. I felt like there was more too it than what they were able to convey in 12 episodes.
I'm hoping magical destroyers blows up in popularity because everyone involved in this project really deserves it. Might be one of my favorite anime of all time, but I'll wait to say that for sure until the whole season is out
Eh, that's life man. It happens sometimes, sadly. Can't tell you how many bangers from talented bands or from OST's I've seen that never got traction or only get some a long time after they were released because they appear in the soundtrack of something popular.

Shiina Ringo & Millennium Parade, Queen Bee, YAOSOBI, the new gundam has a REALLY good ED, Aimer (Nier Automata never actually finished), like... this season has either REALLY popular songs (Idol by Yaosobi) or other really hitting songs (like RED;Birthmark by AiNA The END, and WORK by Millennium Parade and Shiina Ringo) In terms of anime... I mean, this is a VERY tough season for anime like this, artsy fartsy anime with hidden meanings... since... like... ok, so, you have Heavenly Delusions, Witch from Mercury season 2, Oshi No Ko is basically anime of the season (popularity-wise), and 2 mappa animes in a second half of the new season of Vinland Saga and Hell's Paradise. As cool and artsy as this show is trying to be, there are more accessible shows in Oshi No Ko and Heavenly Delusions that have talk about subjects in a serious matter, but aren't fuddled up by trying so hard to have creative symbolism to get there. Witch from Mercury is a gundam show, so... blessed is the soul of Tomino, they're still doing that wackadoo political insanity that is Gundam, just with a dash of Utena on it to make it different. There are other shows out this season, too, but like... I think its disingenuous in general to just say, "hey, this might be one of my favorite anime of all time" if there are SO many to pick from that, I'd argue from a pacing perspective, wouldn't make you sound as pretentious as saying Magical Destroyers would. Trust me, I REALLY liked Sonny Boy. But like, you have to watch the whole thing before you could even come to that conclusion, episode 5 was reaching hard. I know how this thing goes with shows like Magical Destroyers being a wild show that could go absolutely anywhere. Cuz, when you build the expectation that the show is good, sometimes, you might miss out on something, kind of like putting on rose-tinted glasses. I think some of the best artists out there want the people who view their art without blind attachment without seeing the whole thing first. It's worse if you, an artist, is told "hey, I like your show" but can't come up with any good reasons why except for "Oh, cuz the visuals were pretty" or "Oh, cuz I really liked the tone and vibes, it matched together well"... Like, there's a lot to unpack from this show that, I think being only up to like, episode 5, I don't think it really gripped too much with what it wants to do with itself. I thought Higurashi was gonna be a really good show last year, but honestly... it was just me blindly trying to like a show because I liked the original one, that it paced itself to hell and then suddenly super powers and now it's all over the place :/ let the show cook. Cuz we don't know if this show'll be like Wonder Egg Priority or Sonny Boy, yet. and if it goes the Wonder Egg route... well... oof indeed

I really like this song and I want to give how I feel about it. I could go in line by line and break down what is being said here, but I actually feel that's not how this song is supposed to be analyzed; instead, this song is meant to be taken from start to finish as "one breath" with no time to reflect or breathe on what is going on. This is, after all, how this incredibly toxic relationship felt, at least to the one singing it. The relationship was hard and fast, incredibly emotional, going from highs and lows with no time to even notice the negativity forming. Eventually, the relationship ends and this is one final stream of emotions from the one singing it where they finally get their chance to say what is on their mind about their partner and also themselves. The use of self-hatred and sarcasm are the singer's attempt to make light of the situation, but the final part, where they call to the heavens above, paints a very clear picture on how they felt: "God help you, if you try date this person."
I enjoyed magical destroyers, as mixed as opinions on it are one thing is undeniable. It's soundtrack has some bangers, I love this credits song. I listened to it after every episode because it's just that good.

I really like this song and I want to give how I feel about it. I could go in line by line and break down what is being said here, but I actually feel that's not how this song is supposed to be analyzed; instead, this song is meant to be taken from start to finish as "one breath" with no time to reflect or breathe on what is going on. This is, after all, how this incredibly toxic relationship felt, at least to the one singing it. The relationship was hard and fast, incredibly emotional, going from highs and lows with no time to even notice the negativity forming. Eventually, the relationship ends and this is one final stream of emotions from the one singing it where they finally get their chance to say what is on their mind about their partner and also themselves. The use of self-hatred and sarcasm are the singer's attempt to make light of the situation, but the final part, where they call to the heavens above, paints a very clear picture on how they felt:
"God help you, if you try date this person."
