Good video. I've recently returned to Scum after a long hiatus (since v0.6) and after watching various videos and experimenting in single player I've decided on my new long-term leveling build as 2/4/1.5/4.5 with Med Brawling, Adv Running, Basic Endurance, Med Thievery, Med Awareness, and Adv Medical. Generally I feel the effort to level any skill to Basic is trivial so it is better to start with one Med skill rather than two Basic skills, and the high INT will boost skill progression too.
Yeah intelligence does make a different but from 3-8 intelligence it's less than 10% experience gain, which is pretty small in most skills I found, not enough to warrant needing a high level early, but again, I said it's personal perefence, thanks for sharing your opinion, and thanks for the comment.
Here is a tip for easy building of melee and brawling skills.....get high. Find the orange mushrooms, eat one. For brawling, have repair kits for your shoes. For melee, craft a couple wooden spears. Now kick back and wait for the little people from your high to arrive and KILL THEM! You can level up those skills fast and there is no risk to you unless your shoes break while you are kicking the crap out of the mini puppets. Hints the repair kit. Anyways just a thought.
The swimming part makes sense because we will sink if too heavy in water irl regardless of swimming abilities. I think 1 of the 4 stats should be capable of 8 but not all 4 at the same time and not just STR only. It would allow people to have a strong character or a faster character of more of a tank character or more of an intelligent character which could encourage squad gameplay with each person having something their character excels at. Maybe a total obtainable attributes of 23 points with each being unable to go past 8 but with 23 total none would be able to exceed 8. The starting 12 total points is fine though. Given that I've seen there used to be more vehicles and boats in game, it makes me wonder if or when those will return and if underwater portions of the game will be expanded on. The underwater caves and shipwrecks are pretty cool but pretty limited especially without the ability to fight off the shark. I know I can swim to get the shark to come out then climb into the boat and shoot it but there's no satisfaction in killing that shark that way lol.
I would say to new players to keep it at 3.0 all, INT you can't raise those number unless bcu upgrades and intel drinks but not sure how many new players will handle AB, having less then 3.0 you cannot skill up to advance, only medium but again...your video is really helpful
That is true, but honestly abandoned bunkers are easier than other bunkers I found. Moat people, new players won't be grinding out to adv in skills early. That's why I said it's an experienced player build. The 3 across is best for new players. Even if you can not get a skill to advanced having the attribute under 3.0 you will still gain all the xp into advanced which is something to remember, you just don't get the benefit of the skill yet. Thanks for the comment!
I started with 3 1 3 5. Advanced melee, .5 in running and .5 in endurance, advanced driving, advanced medical and medium engineering. Now I'm at 4.6 5 5 5. I wish I had started with 5 1 1 5. I got con up to 5 in the time it took leveling str from 3 to around 4. For some reason my str wasn't leveling up. Since .95 my str is leveling a whole lot faster. I don't have a clue why. I also just hit advanced plus engineering. I also have advanced plus pistols and driving. I still have almost 0 in brawling.
Great video! Learned a lot. One question though, how can I loose fat% at body reserves tab after hitting 5 in dexterity? I am at 17% and 11kg, would like to lower it a bit, what should I do? Thanks!
Nice video, thank you 👍. Since I didn't find anywhere info.. Can you answer or do research about fat? Can you lower your fat with all stats max out and how? I have 8,5,5,5 and fat 15% - 9kg. Wanted to lower to 8% but cannot. Thanks in advance.
Hi Have you tested how much KG chest weight you can carry with STR 3 & STR 5. I know that with 3 STR you can carry approx. 70kg of box and with 3.5 about 80kg but I´m not sure anymore.
Buddy, thanks for the sum-up. I am somehow interested in the lowering muscle/day gain. apparantly the more str i have, the less muscles I gain per day. with 3 STR i started around 2300g/day and now wiht 4.6 str i sit somewhere between 1800 and 1900. Do i need to do something different?
Hey, nice video. If I'm repeating someones question, sry. Does it, and if yes then how much is melee damage increase. Let's say from 3 STR Danny Trejo machete 1 hit damage vs 8 STR. If that makes a big difference than maybe it's worth some time? Tnx for the time and for the great video.
So when I tested strength damage with Malay? It changed from advanced level 3 strength to advance all the 8 strength about 10%. I suppose I could do it video testing this. I have done it on my own but never made a video of it.

That water in the lake looks so good in your game.
I'm using the highest settings. The game does look good.
Honestly great video - very calm, detailed and comprehensive, easily accessible and helpful!
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the comment. I am aiming at this style of content as I believe it is lacking in the SCUM community.
Quick and easy!
Best content*, throurough 🔥

All right. But what does gun recoil control look like? Strength affects control, but is there any difference from 6 to 8?
Good video , cheers

Doesn't change regardless of strength level sadly.

After 4 strength, you start gaining less muscle. Make sure your at 100% strength-based activity

Man that is disappointing about the swimming.
Yeah... I was really hoping for a lot more weight, thanks for the comment.
Me too, oh man. That whole grind is so meaningless.
