Thank you! This particular condo has been on my list almost from the beginning of my research into moving to Thailand. I appreciate getting a fresh view of it and your insights.
Room is kinda small but Wow very very affordable price with a very nice view and facilities. The Location is very convenient right next to the mall and market. Amazing for $399 a month or $13 a day . Thank you for showing this to us.
Yes, the unit itself is quite small. The facilities and convenience really makes for a great deal. Thank you so much for watching and leaving this nice comment :)
Great video, thanks for the virtual tour, Stefan! For a single person, I think the condo size is actually fine, and the amenities are definitely nice. How did you get in touch with the realtor? Also, do you need a Thai bank account to rent these, and is there a minimum lease period?
Yeah it's actually great for me. Same principal as most of the Bangkok real estate market. The best thing is to identify areas of the city that you enjoy. Then go to the juristic office at the buildings that you like most. At the juristic office they have a dedicated real estate agent (or contact info to one) who will take you through everything. What type of condo you need, take you on a tour, price options, etc. And the lease is usually 12 months and that is also the case here. I've heard people get 6 month contracts sometimes though. Hope this helps :)
@@stefanexplores Prices usually are slightly higher when renting for less than annual. And, also depends on when you start rental; price goes up during high season.
Virtually touring the three condo units n accompanying facilities with u. The first condo unit is just nice to accomodate one or two tenants n the view is just great. I definitely will not choose the third condo bcos I dont the wall tiles. They look gaudy. So after the condo tour, which unit did u choose to stay, Stefan? Tq for sharing this video with us. Till the next one. 👍😍
Wow really nice and it's all I need. I just need good fast/reliable wifi, desk and office chair in that space. Thanks for the video tour. Always a pleasure to see your video updates. Are you still staying in HuaHin?
Same here! The wifi is fiber from True, so you can just get any speed you want, starting from 500/500 mbps. I'm going to try living in Bangkok for a while. Always a pleasure to read a comment from you :)
That's great to hear :D I will check with her. Maybe it'll blow up her Line. Otherwise check out the juristic office inside the Whizdom Connect, Essence and Inspire :)
The first unit is perfect, I don't understand why most units don't have a decent desktop, nobody works from home in Bangkok? The most luxury ones have lots of unpractical space, with no place to set a simple workstation
I like to spend some time in different areas of the city and get the feel for them. Once I've identified a few where I can see myself living, I will have a look at sites like Hipflat to get a general view of the prices in the area. Then I will look at what projects are available there and have a look at their websites. Now we have narrowed it down to a few buildings that seem nice, right? So now it's time to hit the streets and walk into the juristic offices of these buildings. They will provide you information and connect you with their trusted real estate agent. This agent will then show you around, depending on your needs :)
I like the video, except the sound…. I could barely hear you speak. Maybe if you aren’t that comfortable with your voice yet, just add some text or I can add my subtitles duh, right;)
Thanks for the feedback. I'm working on that. My microphone clips a lot, which sounds awful. As a result, I've turned down the gain a lot. I know that sound is important, so I'll try to sort that out, thank you :)
@ your welcome, you will get better with this the more you do it and there will always be haters and whiners no matter where you go. Life is all about executing your vision and sometimes it’s not as you plan, but trying is better than thinking about an idea.
Yeah they’re very small compared to what I’m used to as well. This seems like the norm for modern 1-bedrooms here in Bangkok though. But like you said, at this location, with these amenities and this price, for a single person, it’s just awesome 😁
This one in Bangkok I think might do 6 months but not 1. The condo I found in Hua Hin does short term stays 1 month: th-cam.com/video/gjlS9bFZn1U/w-d-xo.html
Video was well done good information. But none of those condos are Luxury... Even your own commentary while going through them was Standard bedroom Standard living room. Too many youtubers use this word luxury and their captions. It's ridiculous. I would argue a condo cannot be luxury unless it's at least 50 m².
I definitely see what you mean. It's a small unit you live in, if you choose the lower prices. However, having great security, well equipped gyms, pools, saunas, onsens, viewing decks, personal transport to the road (golf cart style), with all this convenience on your doorstep, feels incredibly luxurious to me :)
I notice you don't see many Hawaiian shirts...obviously an untapped market niche! Although you did have the silly gringo wearing white socks with flip flops, and a hospital mask, so there's that.
TH-camrs like you make me laugh my head off. Luxury? These condos are far out from the centre, they are tiny, definitely not luxury and that area is not the best. I should know, I made the massive mistake of renting a condo in On Nut once and left after 4-days. My own fault for poor due diligence. That is why they are cheap. Or are they? I have a 43m2 1-bedroom condo in Asoke and I pay 25k pm. High floor, good views and all the usual amenities (pool/fitness/co-working space etc). Instead of headlining this as “affordbale luxury” why not be truthful and say “affordable very small but decent condo units in an average area”. 🙄
To each their own. I can definitely see why some people want to live smack in the middle of the center of the city. There are pros and cons to that as well. Does come with congestion, pollution and traffic. Feels a bit stressful to me. Some of us enjoy living 15 minutes outside the city center and still feel like we have enough access when we need it. Especially remote workers. It's more calm, yet has everything we need. Don't know what your background is, but this setup as a whole feels incredibly luxurious to me. Might be my humble beginnings, or the culture that I come from. It's subjective, I think. Anyway, much appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. It helps a lot :)
Affordable luxury is an oxymoron. The word affordable implies something within the reach of most people. Whereas luxury usually signifies exclusivity and a high price point making the phrase paradoxical. It seems I not the only one annoyed at TH-camrs calling something luxury out of it’s intended context
@@grahaml6072just posted a longer reply with the same thoughts. These wannabe influencers are infesting my YT and TT feeds these days and just grind my gears.
@@grahaml6072 I see what you mean. However, it's not an oxymoron to me. Relative to my Swedish salary, this is extremely affordable. It's also faaaaaar more luxurious than anything I can get in Sweden at my salary. So basically through geo-arbitrage, I have a situation where I feel like I live a luxury lifestyle, at a relatively affordable rate :)

Yeah it's just so convenient. The location with BTS and a great mall right next to it is hard to beat. Good amenities too.
Great job brother, thank you so much for all you do. We appreciate You!
My pleasure! I appreciate you and this comment made my day :)
@ YIPPY! Be well, keep smiling and go get your life on, you got this!

This area is so great for online/remote worker.
Yes and it's the perfect balance between access to the bustling city core and the more authentic local areas :)
Thank you for the info! I've been looking at the On Nut area, and this looks amazing!
On Nut is a great area! Two BTS stops away :)

Which of the 3 buildings had the onsen?
Whizdom Essence :)
Just wondering if you have been huahin yet and if you have recommendations there for a 1 month stay. Nice job on your videos brother.

Yes I also need to have a proper work station. Will probably buy a desk and office chair 😃
Why did you leave Hua Hin ?
Checking out many parts of this region. I like Hua Hin a lot. Bangkok seems like a nice home base for now :)
Oh wow amazing there Stefan.. enjoy and takecare...
Thank you, you too!

Good value for money but the units are incredibly small😁

- no luxury at all
- affordable luxury doesn't exist
- overpriced for the area and the standing
- you can get so much better for the same price
Wow! Where?
Do they do short term stays like 1 month?

sad you dont know what a Luxury Condo is
Key word 'affordable'
$399 a month or $13 a day and you get all these. It’s a luxury to my wallet.
