you've really inspired me. I'm like 39 ,and I've never been able to push past ADHD and other nonsense that's meant all my music, from when I was like 14 til now, is recorded but unreleased because I've never been able to get a video or a recording that's "good enough" for my stupid perfectionism. But your stuff sounds so much fresher than what's out there, and I think it's because you've nailed REAL punk values, the production is *perfect*, beautfully mixed without being overpolished and sterile, the videos are effective because they focus on the performance, and it reminds me that actually, this is what really matters, that's the sould of what music is. I love your voice as well, you don't sound like anyone else. I really hope your videos blow up and you make it big because we need a return to the honesty of a real performance, not the auto-tuned and over-produced shallow tat we're drowning in. Much respect from the UK.
Oh wow, this is good stuff! If someone told me that it was released in 1967, I would have believed them! I just hope that you don't get ripped off by a major label -- they do that, you know!
I feel like this genre is new maybe in the future people will be saying that hey that sounds like Ellie Adair haha you know? Because this sounds are sounds i haven't heard before i really like that almost all your songs the voices are always a bit lower than the instruments but it somehow sounds awesome it's like you are defining a new genre please continue doing what you love Ellie :)

@@urskrik6353 look up Collective Soul's song Shine. The guitar riffs are very similar, at least the first half of this riff sounds almost the same as the one on Shine.
Just awesome work! The video, the music, the lyrics, the mastering, the mix... Everything! I love The end when you recorded the electric without amp,,, Very tasteful creativity! Keep them coming!
No, this is an original. I could see how the intro has a similar guitar riff, but that’s completely unintentional. Sometimes that just happens in music. Thanks for listening!

I can't help but feel the vibes of Collective Soul, Cranberries, and Smashing Pumpkins when I listen to this. Simply Awesome! 👍
I think it's pretty clear why you're feeling the Collective Soul vibe lol, that riff is uh... pretty Shiny...
Gotta drop a comment in hopes that it will help the algo push this out to more people.
absolutely criminal that this isn't more popular

Lady's first addiction
Is feminine attention
And liquid company
Almost like the real thing
Tell her to puff a smoke ring
And She'll laugh into the ceiling
Rewind

Freak for the friction
Lady's superstition
Is a vivid fantasy
Almost like the movies
Tell her to light a doobie
And she'll wander aimlessly
Rewind
Pay attention this time

Almost like the real thing
Tell her to puff a smoke ring

Sounds inspired by Collective Soul, gotta love it
Dont speak for others. Only the artist knows what inspired this
@@urskrik6353 look up Collective Soul's song Shine. The guitar riffs are very similar, at least the first half of this riff sounds almost the same as the one on Shine.

Cool, has a "Black Sabbatish" vibe... keep on rockin Miss Ellie! 😎
I'd say more Smashing Pumpkinsish. But they were heavily influenced by Sabbath and Zeppelin, which you can also hear here.
Just awesome work! The video, the music, the lyrics, the mastering, the mix... Everything! I love The end when you recorded the electric without amp,,, Very tasteful creativity! Keep them coming!

Does this lady play shows? Can't find any tour info. Would totally go to a show
Doesn't the guitar remind anyone else of Lola by the Kinks? But grunge-ier
Pretty kick-ass
Screaming Trees...?
You listen to Smashing Pumpkins?
Wait a minute. Are you making a cover / sampling from Collective Soul's Shine?
No, this is an original. I could see how the intro has a similar guitar riff, but that’s completely unintentional. Sometimes that just happens in music. Thanks for listening!
I thought the same thing at first, but this is definitely it's own thing.
It could aslo be Cherub Rock from Smashing Pumpkins.
Cool Edgy Aunt that your mum doesn't want you hanging out with to much Vibes.
Well what do you know? Rock n Roll isn't just for angry young men.🙂
opening sounds like smashing pumpkins
I was going to say shine by collective soul
