Yup. That is what happened to me. Fortunately I could get the dev to fix my save five. Those slag only contract are a bit small to solve my problems but there was an update that reduced the amount of slag generated.
@@surtrplays I reported the bug but I also had a previous save....I just can't let anyone delete it. Since we are here....I have a huge problem with the Ventilation item...do you have any idea why it won't let me install it inside my living quarters?
Congrads for not ignoring RTGs. I've seen a lot of people just brush them aside because they produce small amout but are expensive to make. What people dont get is that its small amout but its 24/7 and its free. You only pay the construction cost. This is why RTGs are used for Martian and Luna rovers. Just put some radioactrive isotope which will take a few thousand years to decay and convert the heat into electricity. There is something else however. You are loosing a lot in production because most of your infrastructure is offline. Your smelters are constantly off due to lack of imput. You ware worring about fuel , the problem with it is lack of aluminium - you can see it in your machine its constantly empty. You need to focus or more regulith extraction from the ground or outside -otherwise it will be failed run because you are converting deminishing resources for expensive components and money (contracts).
Not sure if you read comments on old videos, but hopefully at some point you figured out that you need more batteries to fix your power issues. You can generate all the power in the world, but if you don't have enough batteries to discharge fast enough to meet the requirements you'll always be in the red and your factories will be running under efficiency. You're working here as if you aren't generating enough power. Your issue is you cannot discharge your power fast enough. You're generating plenty.
I do read messages on old videos. Yes, on the battery discharge. I was hoping that the research upgrades would sort that out but any upgrade that you do on power doesn't hold, so now You are forces to build a huge amount of batteries.

in your hab did you have food growers set up couldn't tell. Maybe they starved
