A great film, thank you for the information. I’m waiting for Tony Blackburn to return to the Saturday morning 60’s show, I can’t settle with Jonny Walker, it’s not the same. Come back Tony all is forgiven. 🍻👍👍👍👍
I had same issue. It kept seeping a few month. Got new one for 20£ and fitted it with a few turn of wrench. Should be good for a few Years now hopefully.
Hi Al. Wonder if you can help at all. We need to take the bath out to do a job but we might need to leave the bath out for a few days. Is there a way we can still have our water turned on while the bath is out maybe capping the bath pipes off or something? Sorry if it's a silly question but I really don't know lol.
The weather looks nice there😍. My neighbour's been using my outside tap without permission and I'm on a water meter! I don't have a stop tap to turn it off without turning all my water off, is there anything I can lock it with? Thanks😊. It's a fair distance from my house, 1/2 acre away!
Excellent video. Learned more in the last few minutes well done many thanks
Mark
No problem Mark.
Our outside tap is dripping and spraying for days now from the join to the bit that sticks out the wall if that makes sense
A frozen split. You will have to renew the fitting.
Lovely video, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video show how save time and money
Thanks.

You should be able to use push-fit fittings to temporarily cap the water supply. Easy to put on & no soldering required.
@@711honvedVery helpful and much appreciated. Thank you.
That is the easiest way thanks 71honved.

No there is nothing I know of Lori.
@@dereton33 Yes, I've found something called Lockatap and it has good reviews😁
Report it to the police. That's theft surely!
@@sugarpuff2978 Yes but it's awkward, they don't know I know it was picked up on CCTV and they knew we were on holiday. They topped their pond up!
Hi, my tap outside has a very slow flow. Any ideas? Thanks
The washer in the tap or the isolation valve is not fully on.
Is the o/side tap from the Mains Pressure, or, as some are from a Header Tank?
@@dereton33 thank you
@@kenhickford6581 mains pressure I believe
Genius.
Thanks.
Your average cheap reseating tool costs from about £11 - £14 and upwards. A new tap will set you back about £8. Just saying.
Thanks for saying, this video though, is just about fixing the tap.
You forgot to tell them that you must turn off the supply to the o/side tap!
Only when you do the washer or reseat the tap . I did say there should be an isolation tap inside the house.
@@dereton33 O.K, I must have missed that bit.
It would have been better to have made that the first instruction.
